Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       This doll is hot, I can't wait to see more photos. I'm waiting on a NS Akando, but WOW, depending on more photos, I may have to put this one on layaway and sell my Akando when he comes.. :sweat

      I just made up a random interjection, THAT IS HOW PERFECT HE IS. :D The lightened picture is LOVE, and I really think he might just work for Don.

      That said... what kind of bodies does the Akando head fit on? Any successful body-swaps or decent resin matches? I know Iplehouse is notorious for not matching ANY other resin, buuuutttt... gotta ask, since the character I have in mind for him is a LOT skinnier than The Hunkasaurus, AKA Akando. ;)

      I'm doomed. Duck lipped dolls just... oh my. He does look quite a bit like Akando but just different enough for me to fall in love with both.

      That 3 month layaway is lookin' pretty good right now. :]

    10. I managed to resist Akando despite the cancellations and the added numbers, now I'm going to be put through that torture again...
      I thought I saw something a few months ago in the IpleHouse Q&A boards about a release of a JID boy towards the end of 2008? So I'm surprised this guy is being released. I expected a JID boy or EID girl first.

    15. I thought that too... but the face is a lil' different... Akando's cheekbones stick out further than Evan's. and Akando seems to have a stronger, more defined jaw...

      The Evan's nose looks rounder than Akando's. & of course, the much commented on "Duck" mouth :lol: They do look remarkably like brothers though...


      I definitely love Evan. :...( There's no way I could buy this LE one though, maybe basic set- eventually. XD

    20. Oh. My. God. He's VERY good looking. Curse me not wanting to buy SDs! I can't wait for more photos, he's very cute. The Noctacarna Circus just has Iplehouse producing so many good-looking new moulds...

      Edit: He also looks... substantial. It may just be the photo, but he looks like he has muscular arms and might be a bit more burly than other BJD boy moulds. I like it. *Grins* *Sees the EID body* Ooh. My friend was looking for a more burly doll. This is PERFECT. :) Amazing.
