Hello yes I have been summoned.

Jacoosun rous are my FAVORITE dolls. I have to upload a pic here for my profile, but I am ALL ABOUT ROUS now. I have many and have been working on hybriding all of my old style body rous onto the new bodies because the improved head movement and posability is amazing.

I currently have:
Girls -
2 original Catmos (1 pale, 1 tan), 1 Zong (tan), 1 Rou 2.0 (pale), 2 new little rous ( 1 pale, 1 tan), and soon to be 3 nana rous (1 of each color).
Boys -
1 New Little rou (tan).

I also ordered 3 of the Catmo 2.0s. Not sure if I'm going to keep them all, but I couldn't decide on color.

 

They're so cute~
I hope I can own one in the future.

 

I'm so happy to see a thread for these gorgeous dolls. I have one Nana Rou (if I have the name right) from the last release. I've not photographed her yet though!

 

I "accidentally" acquired another nana rou myself - thought this one is modded with her eyes more opened. And I found a new style body only for sale so I can work on having my sleeping new little rou girl's eyes opened and make her her own doll. So the last rou on my list to acquire is a Vainilladolly collab rou. But. I'm not holding my breath on that one. I'm getting excited for the catmo 2.0's - we should be close to them starting to ship I hope.

I've reached "completion" with my collection - something I was striving for for nearly 2 decades in this hobby. It took finding rous for me to be able to reach that. But of course, as I told my spouse, I am leaving room for future rou acquisitions only.

 

You can't order the bodies only unfortunately - mine have been found from second hand sales of people having multiple heads on one body or putting onto old style bodies or what not. It's definitely a slow process, trying to find new style bodies only available for purchase. I did acquire 2 bodies that were actually from Jacoosun as bodies only - they were overstock from the Nana release and sold to someone who sold me 2 of them.

I'll try and get some more photos of everyone soon I hope! Working on getting everyone painted, eyes and wigs and what not.

 

I recently purchased a 2nd nana Rou. This time she is the Tina collaboration, so slightly smaller eyes than my first one. I can't wait to get her a face up and clothes.

 

Did anyone else get lucky enough to catch the VainillaDolly Collab release? Or, I guess they're calling it the ORou? It was a little crazy - just randomly dropping a limited number preorder with absolutely no preamble or warning.

 

I just discovered these dolls on Flickr. I am so in love and I so wish I had seen them sooner so I could get one of the pre-orders, just missed it by days.
Question I see pre-order ones on ebay for a lot of money but seller is an Electronic store in Thailand. That can't be right
I want to be sure to buy from artist or at least from someone honest second hand. What do I look for? COA, stamp on head cap? Also since when could you buy pre-orders on ebay?

Thank you, I have the site bookmarked so knew of prices and such, but sad to see everything sold out and I just missed the Olga Rou girl full set by a few days.
How often does the artist create new pre-orders?

I missed the Vainilladolly preorder as well, only 200! I was sad to miss the NaNa too... who knows where I was (probably moving home) but I do have one little girl. She's begging me for sisters! SO I am on the hunt if anyone is looking to let one go please message me.

 

I see they said in October sometime. Does anyone know if they are open to layaway?

 

There's photos up on her Insta... I think she does layaway with preorders? like a deposit, then final payment when they come in.
I was hoping for another Rou kid but this new one looks amazing and bigger, I think 40cm??
