1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Jointed hands for Luts bronco skin

Jun 16, 2022

    1. Hello!
Can someone help me with finding jointed hands for 75 cm Luts boy in bronco skin tone?
I don't ordered the boy itself yet, still thinking about pros and cons of skin tones. Not last part for me is jointed hands for him, but Luts don't have jointed hands in bronco skin in their shop and I am curious if I could find hands in possibly matching skin tone from other manufacturer/seller. Please help!:eusa_pray

    2. Without seeing skin tone will be hard to tell. I can tell you that darker tans can be very hard to match for something few companies even produce.

    3. Doll Family H and Doll Family A are a common go to for jointed hands. They make them in a variety of sizes and i've heard that they can resin match. From what I have heard, their resin matches are really good. You can go directly to their website. Alice's collections is a dealer for them too.

    4. @animemom actually I hope that here are some people, who own luts dolls in bronco skin and they could say something about it. Bronco is lighter than brown, here is link to luts twitter post with comparison brown-bronco-natural skin tones:

      And here (normal-brown-bronco):

@Flemcat I totally forgot about Alice! Thanks ^^ Should try this idea, hope it will work ^^

    5. @Lutego I just took a look at Luts website and isn't it weird that you cannot order jointed hands for a 75cm doll in any of the offered colors? You can order heel legs in bronco. This may be a mistake on their website. I have messaged them twice this month asking them why you could not order a Zuzu26Delf or a ZuzuKidDelf in the summer event fantasy colors. They messaged me back (fairly quickly) and told me it was a mistake and they fixed their website.

I would highly recommend leaving a message on their Q&A board and see if you can get those jointed hands in bronco. Worse they are going to say is no. It's worth a shot.

Granted, Doll Family A or H will do for a lot cheaper. $164 USD for a pair of jointed hands is pretty expensive. Plus they may charge more for bronco skin.

    6. @Flemcat Yes! I tought like this too! I already contacted Luts about bronco skin for jointed hands, will see what they answer... And I also will contact Alice about that too, may be she could help. Btw, I contacted her some time ago about jointed hands for Luts doll in normal skin (because they are sold out by Luts at the moment) and she said that I should just leave note for her while buying Doll Family hands, that I need normal skin and DF will do them in Luts normal then. But I was in doubt about bronco skin because it seems the color is not regular and may be for special Luts colors you can find no another manufacturer except Luts themself. Jointed hands for 75 cm dolls are not from Luts, they are from another manufacturers. Heel legs are from Luts and may be this is why they have bronco skin for them...

    7. @Lutego huh, I didn't know that the jointed hands for a 75cm doll are not from Luts themselves. From what you said above, may'be it would be best to go through Doll Family for jointed hands in bronco.

    8. @Flemcat You can see manufacturer names on pages with these items: heel legs - Luts creation, jointed hands - Doll Legend :)

    9. @Flemcat Of course at first I checked LegendDoll site for these hands, but there was nothing (not sold out, just nothing), so that I thought may be they don't make them any more. Then I checked all possible doll shops and found hands which are best matching to Doll Legend hands (size and style) and found DF hands.

    10. Based on Luts' comparison photos, I think Bronco skin might be similar to Soom Tawny. I have a doll in Tawny, and I have a Luts body that was Brown skin but I dyed it, so I can't take a photo comparison. So I'm going off of my memory but you could investigate that and see if anyone can compare them for you! Unfortunately Tawny seems to be a really inconsistent color, sometimes it's lighter and sometimes it's darker. But Soom does make large jointed hands for Idealian, which are 75cm.

    11. @overlordu Thank you! Honestly, I don't mind of color which is not 100% match to bronco, because I knew it will be a problem. Of course if you look at them with doll in person, it worried, but my dolls 99% time can be seen on photos only, so that I can do skin color matching with editing in paint, however it will be easier if color is not so contrasty :)

    12. I was also going to mention Soom Tawny. Hands from 2019 are darker than the newer years, its still inconsistent but hopefully that bit of info will help you in deciding whether to find second hand or buy new if you do go with Soom.

I would also look into Telesthesia, their light tan looks like it could be a match and they make jointed hands (options for long nails too).

    13. Yeah just looks like a darker NS. Like Old Dollstown and Dollshe Oriental skin.

    14. Doll Legend closed down a while back I believe (there's a thread on it on DoA somewhere), but I'm not sure if they still make their jointed hands because it looks like Luts still offers it in brown. I guess it might be backstock. Definitely worth a try to contact Luts anyway, though.

    15. Well, Luts answered my question, here:

      "Dear,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
In the case of Bronco-colored joint hands, we do not have any plans yet.
if we have plans, we will notify you on the notice board.
Moreover, if there are many inquiries in the future, the promotion plan will be moved forward.
As valued customer, we will always be at your service.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through our NEW Q&A Board =)
      Best regards,
      LUTS"

Sooo... "if there are many inquiries in the future, the promotion plan will be moved forward". We just need to bombard Luts with requests about jointed hands in bronco skin XD

    16. Well, there is your answer. They gave me the same answer when I asked them if they plan on releasing Kid Delf Persi again in the future.
