1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Jointed Toes/Feet

Mar 4, 2011

    1. Hmm, it's an interesting concept, but I don't think practical. I'm agree with others that this may cause stability issues mostly and trying to put on shoes would be interesting. This is of course if all the toes were jointed individually. If all clumped together it may work, even if the big toe has it's own set of joints. It'll just be a pain to restring as it's just more stuff to put together. I can only see this useful poses with bare feet. Shoes may be the factor that would stabilize them, but that's only if they wear them. Also the only time were I can see this may even look good and function decently is if the doll was fairly large.

    2. I have only seen jointed hands. I have never seen jointed feet. I must research this. Thanks.

    3. I would adore jointed feet, as I love curled toes and then my dolls could actually wear between the toe shoes D: Or toe socks! Those would be hard to make but so adorbale. I think a company could figure out a way to make the toes jointed and doll still able to stand. Even if not the jointed feet could only be put on when needed, like high heel feet.
