1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Just an object?

May 28, 2009

    1. I don't consider them objects, but neither as children or such. They're just...my boys. I talk to them (not as a conversation, just chatter) and I have them sit in my lap and hold them in my arms (as per the linked image, kind of). If there was an emergency, I would grab my dolls before any other piece of artwork in my house. I do not care much for my objects, but I do care for my dolls.

    2. I wouldn't leave my teddy bears upside down either! lol I don't think of my dolls as being "alive" or anything, but in a way they are still like friends to me, and I do treat them very carefully. So I think of them as objects, but they are very special ones.

    3. I treat them like objects that I decorate, think about characters, and take photos. They're just dolls.

    4. No way! Not just an object.. xP I dont even have my dollie yet but I know I will have a special connection with it. Though thats probably just because I'm... a creeper. xDD but I will treat it as if it were real ^^
