  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. It's happened a few times with Peakswoods, Idealian, and recently Volks Harry Potter (missed every single one). Each time i was deeply emotinally invested so I took it way harder than I should have. As time passed i felt somewhat better, but it depended how invested I was and how much emotions i was suppressing by thinking of buying that doll. I took Peakswoods and Volks Harry Potter incredibly hard. Idealian I was sad about it, but got over it fairly quickly for me. I'm not sure if dolls get re-released for all companies. I noticed Peakswoods do re-release some face ups, so that's good. I have no idea about Volks bjds. I tried asking about re-release questions, but they told me to ask Mahou instead. I think I tried asking before, but i never got a response.

      I haven't had any luck with second hand sales for Idealian. I've been only searching on instagram. I don't know where else to really look.

      I haven't actively searched for Peakswoods because it might be hard to find the face sculpt, face up, and resin i want it in and I'm fine hoping for it to be re-released face up.

      For Volks Harry Potter, I did find the first set of dolls on ebay, but I waited too long and it got sold out. I think I heard it's not good to buy second hand on ebay for bjds. Besides ebay and instagram I'm not sure how to find the dolls second hand. I tried Facebook, but couldn't figure how to use the app because there were so many features. It's not really an app I'm interested in learning how to use right now.

      I haven't applied yet for marketplace.

    2. @Forever We Are Young A lot of the BJD's on ebay are recasts so, yeah, it's not the best place to be looking for legit dolls. There are a fairly wide number of 2nd hand dolls in the MP here and I've purchased most of my 2nd hand dolls through the MP here and that includes ones that I missed out on when they were first released.

    4. The same year that I bought my first doll, I was completely unaware that there existed more types of dolls beyond the strictly human ones, and, in that same year, DearMine was selling the tiny anthro doll that would automatically become my grail once I discovered it. I still consider it my grail and haven't had luck finding him on the second-hand market.

    5. This happened to me back in September, I missed out on a Kagamine Len for retail price. I was so heartbroken and upset I ended up going way out of my budget to get him from yahoo auction, and by way over I mean $1200 more than the original sellers price :frownyblush:

    6. I feel like this makes the hobby super stressful. You might want to step away and spend some time with the dolls you already purchased, but the feeling of missing out is so strong. For me it's the dust of dolls bjds, I always pass them up because I dont like the promo pictures. Then owners get them and make them look so cute with custom faceups and I regret not purchasing.
