1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Keeping Tiny Outfits Organized?

Jun 6, 2008

    1. I have a doll trunk that all my itty bitty clothes are just piled in right now, so I need to rummage through everything to find what I'm looking for. I am vision impaired, so the tactual element of this is really important for me to figure out what's what.

I did get a new system to keep all the Kelly sized shoes straight. A friend found for me a bead organizer that has 12 little clear round containers contained in a clear box. Each holds a couple pairs of shoes, so I can get them sorted by color, and then label each accordingly. Now to just get around to all the labeling!

    2. Oh, I haddn't thought of shoes, but now that you meantion it... yes, must get some such item :)

    3. For the teeny tinies, I pretty much baggy everything in ziplocks and pitch them into a large and deep plastic craft container with a latchable lid and handle. My minis have taken over the two drawers of my antique dressing table and the big guys have a combination of large white cardboard shipping boxes from Container Store and some of the smaller plastic craft containers (shoe box sized). The new YoSD-sized guys' stuff are floating around in baggies until I get their stuff a plastic storage container.

    4. If anyone needs really little baggies for accessories and maybe shoes, depending on their size, Michael's (the crafts store) sells them in their beading section. They're 5x7.5cm big and pretty good quality...I don't remember how much they were though.

This thread did inspire me to get a Sterilite drawer set to hold my coming tiny's clothes -- she's already developing quite a collection and I need all the help I can get staying organized!

    5. Bambicrony's have their own drawer in my land of overstuffed rolly carts. My Esheki has all of his outfits stored away in one ziplock bag in with the Bambi's stuff. I want to get more tinies though... So I may have to develop a better system.

    6. I have a tiny chest of drawers for all the shoes/socks and hair accessories. Everything else tiny tends to live in a clear cosmetic bag so i can spot it easily.

    7. Have you seen the package that the "Teen Trends" dolls come in?? I aquired the packaging off my daughter its a ready made closet complete with a drawer amd a hanging rod, once you thow a couple of pillows into the longest space you also have a perfect MSD sized doll carrier..... with a handle at the top!! Its surprisingly robust.... *hunting for a photo*

      BRB with a picture...

Edit: here we go... the doll is on the left in the large compartment, clothes hang on the right upper and there is a drawer on the right lower... if you look at the second picture you can see how there is a flat that wraps around the back of the box when its packed and unfolds to close the box when its out of the platic... it has a magnetic strip to keep it closed and a handle to carry it :) I like mine  BTW the dolls are the same height if not a bit taller than my AoD mini.. (OT TT dolls have ball joints in the knees LMAO, I am not brainwashing my daughter early.... honest)

    8. Currently I'm using a Caboodles box...the big parts hold my MSD stuff (that pretty soon I won't have) and the smaller ones hold my Tiny stuff.

I have also a box and I put toys etc in the small Glis boxes from Ikea but I want that big one with the drawers!!!

I also may get a Tiny bag from Dollmore or have one made for me by Draconic Maiden which is another place I can keep things...esp. if I take Tillie and Nuri somewhere.

    9. I have a trunk thing form walmart looks like wood for my SD and a small sewing box/lunch box type thing for my tinys, her things are all kind of crammed in there right now lol I have a rolling cart thing I could use, but its kinda put away right now. Ill get it out tonight and take a few pics
