Sorry to hear it's still taking so long for you, AmberLeigh, but I hope your Largo reaches you soon!

Kittyfields, I'm glad to hear that all the fullset accessories are so gorgeous and great quality! That's unfortunate that your boy didn't escape the curse of the broken hand either, but on the plus side, I should update to say that I received the replacement hand from Lati just a few days ago and it was very securely packaged and arrived in perfect shape, so they should be pretty good about sending an extra hand to you as well.

 

Thanks, I'm sure he'll be worth it I guess there's been some delay with the blushing on the wings, so Lati offered to send the rest of my doll ahead of the wings at no additional charge but I'd rather wait. I don't think it'll be too much longer. I'm glad Lati is replacing hands, hopefully they'll take extra care in the future and pack them with more protection.

New Black Line Istvan doll. Only one picture so far. It is enteresting that the big dolls in the Red and Black line are mostly boys. Their small dolls are mostly girls! Wonder what is up with that difference. I wanted a Irene painted differently. There is one for sale as an elf, but I prefer non-elves. Don't tell my Pury that she is the only one that I have with "those" ears.

 

I just received my replacement hand today! Boy was that thing well-packed, haha! I hope Lati learned their lesson with Largo and will be packing Istavan's hands properly. ^_^;

As you can see, his helmet thingy has a few chips in the blushing. It's chipped even more now, sadly. I've barely had him out at all and when he's in his box I wrap the parts in bubblewrap, but I swear they'e still chipping. I recommend that anyone getting his fantasy parts with blushing (the hammer and helmet) seal them right away! I can't seal due to crazy Canada winter. The hammer's blushing has also rubbed off on Largo's hands a bit too.

 

Oh, he's just lovely.

He looks so gorgeous, KittyFields! The faceup is lovely, especially the touches of blue. The chipping in the paint on the accessories is a bummer, though. On my end, I just sent out my Largo heads for their faceups, and I kind of miss them already, haha.

The new Black Line boy Istvan is very handsome. It would have been nice if Latidoll had also included photos of him in normal skin, though, seeing as that's the resin color he defaults to, while the tan skin is a +$50 option.

 

They've put up a sort of promo piece about the black line with some clues about future dolls and background information about the world they created for the line.

Largo's face was a little sweet for my tastes (love the fantasy parts though) but Istvan is really lovely. The outfit is great, and I like his face. He's totally ruined my doll plans, and I think I'll be getting him on layaway a little later into the order period.

 

omg I hope that the shadows doll are not only a hint, I want that antlers guy *O*

 

Oh man, this line is like "I could totally get ALL of these dolls fullset and be happy" for me. The sheer number of dolls with wings in that silhouette is seriously scares my wallet. Ah, if money grew on trees. I hope at least a few people pick up Istavan!

 

The text suggests that the cat and rabbit dolls at least will be girls, which should be interesting to see.

 

If that calendar is right it looks like they want to release one each month...?

 

I kind of stalk Angel Toast on Flickr, and what do I see? Sesshoumaru Largos! This could be interesting.... now that I look at him, the sculpt quite suits the character.

 

Ahaha, yep, that's him! (Silly as it sounds, Sesshoumaru was my very first favorite anime/manga character ever, so after almost ten years, I'm still embarrassingly fond of the character. XD The wheels in my head immediately started turning when I saw the Largo sculpt.) Andrea's actually just sent him on his way again today, so he should be reaching me by next week. I can't wait!

 

I can't wait to see that; I loved Sesshoumaru.

 

OMZ! I love Istvan so! I've been looking around for a good sculpt to be a particular character, and I'd almost settled on a Luts Senior Delf sculpt when this boy just jumped out at me. His tan skin looks stunning, I love his facial expression/face shape, and that SWORD! OMZ that sword is AMAZING!!! I think I'm going to have to find a way to be able to buy him by/before March 11th and definitely before I get any Pukis.

Essentially, I want to get Istvan to be the character instead of a Luts doll now

 

Sorry for the double post, but I have a question for those of you that have Largos already. In the measurements on the Lati site for the Black line, it says the shoulders are 11 cm wide. Does that include the top of the arms, or is that only from one arm socket to another? I hope that question makes sense.

 

Don't worry, your question makes perfect sense. ^^ 11cm is not including the tops of the arms. When I measured my boy, the shoulder width including the arms is more around 15cm.

 

For anyone who did layaway on their Largo, do you post a Q&A message for each payment, and then Lati tells you how to pay? I was going to place my order on Tuesday because I have a payment due into my account then, but it looks like Lati get a lot of Q&A messages (to the point where I feel kind of sorry for the staff member who handles it!) so I was thinking it might be better to place the order today and get in the queue as soon as possible.
