1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Leeel's LQ Line Discussion

    1. Aw! I know I fangirled in the waiting room and in your gallery thread, but I still can't get over how much of a cutie Rivet is Humbug! :whee: Looks like he's adjusting his little hat there! Oh, I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself! :o I was surprised that there isn't much room in the back of his faceplate for eyes at all! o_o;;

Ooh! I hope you can order a tinman soon Yarnlia! :3 There needs to be more of them around!!

    2. Thank you so much, Bandersnatch. The eyes do fit stem and all, to a degree. And there's even wells inside the faceplate back for the eyes to sit in, but they will always be angled a certain way thus making him look derpy. :sweat

    3. Mine is going to be painted so I am still waiting. Hopefully soon.

    4. I asked last week, and they said my kids would ship on the 4th.

    5. I can't wait to see how the default paint looks. :D I'm thinking about painting Rivet, but having to take him apart feels like too much trouble. Well, at the very least I shoud paint his heart. X3

    6. I had a lot of trouble getting Dashpot's eyes in so I separated the stork bit from the front of the eye and now they are sitting fine. It was a bit of a fiddle but at least they stay put now.

ReRe I'm looking forward to seeing your painted one.

    7. Looks like they're *finally* sending my dolls, a day later than the original delayed date, but not so much past it that I began to get concerned. I appreciate the communication, and they're sending me a wizard hat as an apology, but honestly....if I'd known the faceup would cause a month delay, I would have ordered Dorothy blank. Seems an excessive wait for what didn't look to be an extraordinarily detailed faceup.

Rere, I hope you're not waiting much longer. Their painting process is apparently really slow.

    8. Okay, was able to pick my kids up today, they're so cute! Holy moley, Dorothy is TINY!!! She's in the Realpuki range, but her head is smaller...the size 2-3 wigs I had didn't fit her. She's currently perusing the Elfdoll tiny wigs, but not sure they won't be too long for her. RP sized clothing should fit her. If you choose to order Dorothy, I'd definitely recommend getting the wig with her if possible...ED tiny wigs are a pain to find nowadays and nothing else in my wigbox was small enough.

Putting eyes into these kids was a fun experience. Yay.

Anyway, here's a tiny comparison...Tinman, then Fee is Puki size, then Dorothy, then a RealPuki.

    9. Congrats Clochette! Eeeeeee! Dorothy is so incredibly tiny!! :whee:
I'm excited, my paint should be arriving today so this means I can get started on painting Tink! However I'm not looking forward to reassembling him *_* Thank goodness Leeel sent a tiny string puller with him though! :D

    10. Bandersnatch are you going to do a photo shoot on how to re-string as I'm scared of taking my tinman apart to paint for fear of never having him whole again lol x

    11. I'm planning on making Rivet a little cabin so I bought the Sylvanian Families Cosy Living Room set because it's got cabin appropriate furniture. It's also the perfect scale for our little tinmans, just to let you guys know. :)

    12. BAWWW Humbug that is such a cute little set up. Rivet looks so cozy ^_^ lucky bot with all the amenities of a comfy home!

    13. Yup, he's definitely going to be spoilt, he's the only bjd of mine who's actually gonna get a house, all the others are SDs. Maybe I'll make them a room box in the future. X3.

    14. I only recently learned these little ones had re-appeared! Like others, I had been planning an order of one of Dollti's little Tinmen before they just up and disappeared so it's great to see this sculptor back and selling under a new name :XD: I only discovered they'd resurfaced again when I saw some gorgeous new owner pics appearing on Flickr just this week. I know who's next on my order list now!
Question for those who have ordered, does the full-set for the little tinplate robot include all the optional extras for this little guy? I couldn't find anything that confirmed exactly what was included in the full-set so I had put though an inquiry via Lee-el's Q & A but thought maybe someone here might also be able to answer this for me.

    15. if you order the full set, you do get all the extra doodads ^_^ so basically all 3 faceplates, both axes, all the hats, all the goggles, both headphone sets.
you should totally order because of reasons. wonderful. tiny. precious robot reasons 8 B

    16. Oh brilliant...definitely going full-set then! Thank you so much, LordHelmet :kitty1

    17. so humbugs posting on the tiny houses thread captivated my interest, and i just ordered a tinman of my own (with all the gadgets, when i added up the ones i wanted i was only $10 short of the special deal so i just bought them all ) my oldest son is a 'gear so how could i resist? looking forward to painting all those little parts too, they will be so different from my normal faceups :)

    18. Hehe, that's awesome! :D

    19. my little tinman came last week, he is so cute, I want to paint him but i'm worried about taking him apart :(

    20. depending on how you paint him you might be able to do it without taking him apart. i've done that before, since the blushing on the joints wears off fairly quickly anyway i just don't bother sometimes, but spray the doll with msc when it is together and blush/paint what i can reach. it all depends on how much you are changing the color whether that will work or not
