Argh my mini is caught in customs and hasn't moved since yesterday. I've calculated a colossal fee of ยฃ60 there or thereabouts if she gets hit which is more than likely going to happen. Edited 10/04/2014 - still waiting she's been there since 08/04/2014 at 13:12! I wish they would hurry up, but a little bit more of a wait will go unnoticed considering :/
Hello everyone! I missed the initial preorder of these girls and I was so bummed about it. I just noticed DDE had some in stock and couldn't let the opportunity slip by. I picked up a Mini that arrived home and I have to say that I am completely in LOVE! But I do have some questions. Mini is my first YoSD sized doll. I noticed she does not have S-hooks in her wrists or ankles. So when restringing, do you just pull the elastic directly through the tiny holes? Also, which form of sueding do you guys suggest? I have hot glue sueded my msds, but I have seen tutorials of sueding with material. Which method is most effective for these ladies? Thanks so much! Here is a photo of my still unnamed girl:
I got my girl!!!!! *does a happy dance* Her body blushing is AH-mazing! I'm really scared I'm going to chip it though. She also has no clothes that fit her. I had this one Pullip dress that I thought would work, but it won't fit over her head or hips, and I don't feel like taking her head off. She still hasn't told me her name yet...
Aeris: I am in absolute LOVE with her. I need to make her some clothes and take a good photo shoot of her though.
I really need to give my girl a faceup - she's just sitting on the shelf looking pitiful I think the super long wait (as silly as this sounds) has soured me a bit, I have absolutely NO motivation to sew for her, which I always do with new dolls. I'm hoping a face will warm me up to her as she is just adorable ... *cries a bit*
Omg, omg, omg. I am freaking out here. I just ordered Tiina. My last bjd was a BBB Song and he was $150. This is my first pre-order...and it was so much money...and I'm both sick and happy at the same time... But I'm so freaking happy!
Kokagi: Congratulations!!! Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be alright! Yeahhhh! My is Tiina already sent! I received my tracking number Friday (but it does not work on EMS ... I'll send a mail to Leeke). I can not wait to receive it and show it to you!
Ack last day and I still haven't decided if I should order Tiina... On the one hand I am struggling for display space and still haven't finished my other dolls, on the other she would make an adorable tiny steampunk/robot Alice in Wonderland to go with my Follow the White Rabbit and I can afford her... Aeris: I think they pre pay the postage, my tracking numbers usually work if I wait overnight. Congrats to everyone with dollies on the way Eta TaraRawr I just realised I can't see that anyone replied to you yet! Sorry! If the elastic fits you can pass it through although this can be tricky of its a tight fit (took me forever to do this on my dollshe girls feet!) A common alternative is string, personally I found this really tricky to do too! My preference is cable ties! You can get them in a translucent clear colour so they don't stand out like a sore thumb but you might need to shop around for tiny ones that will fit these girls

I had a look at my Chole and Mini I think they are tied with the monofilament used for fishing line and jewellery if you do decide to go for the same as Leeke I caved and ordered Tiina in boringly predictable fashion!
Has anyone ordered through Leekeworld directly? I know they say there will be a wait of 40-50 days, but I'm wondering if anyone has gotten their preorder before then?
Hi Kokagi - I ordered directly through Leekeworld - I paid her off on the 18th Dec and got a shipping notice a month later. At the time it felt like forever, but in hindsight, really wasn't that bad (I think I'm just impatient LOL)
