Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       I emailed the company about layaway order for Kiera 2 days ago and waiting impatiently on a reply :sigh Need to have her!

      I'm thinking of doing a hybrid with a Doll Chateau body for the Ciera head. I'll have to see how she looks in person. Ah! So excited.

    6. I love Ciera, period. Sadly i cannot order her cause i'm running already two layaways so i guess that she will be into my wish list for ever :lol: i like so much also the skeleton arms, looks just awesome.

      I'll be sure to post a photo of her. Hehe, but she'll just be a head for a while yet...I have to save up for a body! She was a super, unexpected splurge. Ah, but I just had to have that faceup in my life! :D

    9. I just paid the last layaway parcel and started to wait for the [Halloween 2015] Ciera Masquerade Head + E-Mundo Body + nipples, hand & feet blushing + vampire bite tattoo. (I asked to ship the head in the same package). Ciera will be the perfect vampire bride.

    11. Ciera Masquerade was shipped fast (18 January) and arrived yesterday. She is so beautiful! The doll was very well packaged.

      I’m very happy. The resin is solid and beautiful. The sculpt is pretty detailed. It couldn’t be better.

      I bought [wamami] 12mm Glass Eyes and had no trouble to use in this head.

      I'm still waiting for the body I got to ship for my girl (she'll be a hybrid). I found a wig just like I wanted for her though so she's coming along little by little.
      I really liked the resin too. It feels nice and solid.
      Was the head cap on your girl hard to keep on? The head cap on mine tends to pop up. I've been keeping it taped.

    13. Me too. Fortunately I found a cheap but really good quality pink and blond bicolor OOAK wig by Pheromone.

      The one I bought have so strong magnets that I can hold it upside down and shake.

    15. Yahoo! I finally found where the other light limner fans are! I regret missing out on the Masquerade face-up Ciera. She is beyond gorgeous and so unique.
      I am curious if anyone has compared the normal or white skin to other doll brands to see if there are any good matches. I am planning on getting a Koren head soon, but need to decide which color resin to go with. I am wondering which one will be the easiest to match...

    16. I have WS and so far the only thing it matches is Dollfie Dream WS. :sweat
      Not such a useful reference since DD WS isn't that popular. But anyway the WS has a pinkish tinge to it.

    17. Ohh, SQ Lab (sqlabdolls.com) has a "white skin for DD" resin, and their SD bodies look like they'd work well with the dimensions. I'm also curious to see if Light Limner NS would match other light pink Korea resins, like Supiadoll or Luts...

      The body looks really nice too, but I definitely want to add some height to it. ; w ; Does anyone know if standard Volks SD16 heels fit the heeled feet? :'3 (Or what other shoes are good~)

    18. Thank you Lady Ravenswood for your thoughts on the WS resin and possible match or lack thereof. That makes me lean more towards the NS like you Deux Silences. I also like the body but not enough to pay 480.00 for it. I am not fond of the way the legs are shaped and they look very short. Don't get me wrong, I like short girls, but the proportions of the Light Limner body isn't going to work for me. I am kicking myself for selling a NS April Story girl body now. Their normal is light pinky toned or at least the one I had from a few years back was.

      How funny too, I have a WS April Story body that I'm going to try for my Ciera. I'm guessing it won't match...but if the fit is good...meh? I can let you know about it after it arrives. Still in the queue. ;)

    20. That is funny and great! Love it! We can keep our fingers crossed together in the meantime.:) I wonder if Soom normal skin would work? Any thoughts?

      So I asked the artist at Light Limner what companies would match their resin and he/she replied they can't answer that because they don't have other company's dolls. Hmmmm. Other companies that sell heads usually can say whether their resins match volks (which seems to be the gold standard) or not. Also, it seems the artist does lots of face-up work for other company dolls posted on flickr so don't know if I totally buy that answer, but understand not wanting to promote a match that cannot be guaranteed. Hybrid making is a very tricky and risky business, but one that can bring great rewards so I will keep trying.

      So anyone else out there who has a normal skin or white skin light limner head or body that can give some feedback on possible resin matches with other companies would be very much appreciated.:)
