I have to agree. 10mm works best in Mono; you can actually see the whites of the eyes, that way. I never got around to ordering some for mine, but I wish I had, as it helps to make a doll look older.

 

Oh yay a mono thread thats active. I love my mono boy, I currently have him in pieces (for ages) to blush and faceup him (an get rid of the fingernails), so dont have any current pics to share. He was my second doll I think, and here he was when I first got him.

I'm still waiting! Oh dear havens I've not been this impatient since the first week I ordered him but knowing he could arrive any moment is just killing me! Thanks for the heads up on the eyes, I do want my Mono to look about 16/17ish... He might get solid eyes, all things depending....

He finally showed up at almost 8 in the evening! Isn't that crazy? We had a big wig trial and got him in some clothes finally. (That was a fight! The boy just doesn't want clothes!)
He's got a real smirky gentle vibe. He's not going to stay blond but I love love love this picture!

Sorry for popping in but I was just wondering, does anyone have an idea of what the resin comparison between Limhwa's normal or pinky skin vs dika's/IS's pink and yellow?

 

So the straight bar in my Mono's neck is driving me crazy, his elastic keeps snapping back into his body whenever I'm fiddling around with his head.
Does anyone here have a Mono with an S hook in his neck instead?

 

Mine didn't have an S-hook, but I took the straight bar in his neck out (because it was glued in). I did it by boiling his head for a bit, so the bar is now removable. It would be easy to put in a (small) shook afterwards, and you could probably find one at a hardware store.

 

Akudem: mine has an S-hook instead of the small bar and it works just fine

 

I've not had any problems with my bar yet and I keep changing out Stormy's eyes and fidgeting with him.

Continuing my efforts to get Salem's eyes to photograph properly. Mostly unsuccessful, but I do like how this came out:

 

I'm sorry if it was asked before, but does anyone know if TTYA jeans would fit Mono ? They look quite awesome !

 

Hinotori, I don't know unfortunately. I wish I did because I've been oogling those jeans myself! My poor Mono is currently wearing a pair of happy bunny pajamas from Angel Studio, they are a bit small. ^^; I just realized I hadn't posted a shot with his new blond wig!

Thanks Roterwolkenvogel! I forgot to mention he's also wearing new eyes in that picture. They are 11mm and 'small iris'. I might change him over to the normal iris I have for him in the same color eventually, as he looks much older than my new white skin boy. Of course in general he looks much older than DC Hugh, I should take a comparison shot.

I have them both in 10mm eyes, Brennil clothing and they wear Leeke and Tinybear wigs.

Stormy finally got some jeans and a shirt! The jeans are from Alice Collections and are a biiiiit tight.

 

Nasa - Salem is gorgeous! May I ask if he's FR or urethane? I have an FR mono that I always thought might be white skin because he was just SO pale, but having seen Salem, I'm now wondering if maybe he's just NS and GLOWY!

TQV - always nice to see more tan boys and no one's going to complain about tight jeans heheh I have both of my mono's in jeans by Brennil, MNF girl cut, and they fit like a dream if you were ever looking for more. Have a demonstration:


Those're special cut flares, Rob is a man of the 70's, shall we say, but I also have her skinnies for Fariq (he's got smaller thighs *kaff*). Tbh, Brennil pretty much single handedly clothes my MSD's.
