    1. romanletters I sueded his entire neck, because his head wouldn't stay upright and always kind of snappend down.
      As for wiring, I just insert a piece of wire in the doll's arm and done (I think you could just insert a small piece around the arm joints but I prefer to have it as long as the whole arm).

      Thanks guys, for your warm response on Rook. I need to buy some airbrush paint to even out his skintone, again, but I think I'm done his face, for now. Here are a few of the shots I took after I was finished, including him with his eyes and his lovely new hair (Nasa <3). I'm going to face-up him after that, and all I have left to do with his body is sharpen his claws. I was going to sand his seams but I don't care enough to. :B

    5. Gah! After seeing custom tan Mono's, I'm sold! *cries* I really don't need to be adding more dolls to my growing list. Chad and Jude are LOVE by the way. :D I can't stare at them enough, so beautiful!

    6. Is this size doll still being offered by Limhwa? The only place I can find them for sale in in Europe. Junkyspot seems sold out for a long time now..
      I have been looking for this size Limhwa boy for awhile. The cost in the European shop is around $400.00 US dollars..is that about right? Thanks for any help you can give me...:)

    7. Junkyspot does preorders only, about every three months. However, I know from Facebook that they JUST got a shipment, including stock for their store, so now is the time to keep eye open for what they have. Tan is likely not in this batch because of the wet season and it's effects on the casting of tab, but might be available meat time. Sign up to the Junkyspot forum for info on preorders.

    8. Thank you splynterhayde for your prompt reply to my question. I sent off an email to the shop in Europe and they quickly replied. I have ordered the doll from them.:thumbup
      Junkyspot..I am in the older age of BJD collectors and although I hear lovely things about junkyspot, I can never figure out their site. I have trouble finding items and then have no idea how to order. I would need a guide to order thru them - I think? :ablink: I know this probably does not say much for my level of intelligence, but for me it has to be KISS or I am one lost customer.

    9. Hey, I'd like to show you Simon! He's really old (from 2006) and has yellowed a lot, but thankfully this doesn't show that much in photos. (I still love him so much, although I'd rather have a boy with fresh & new skin... ^^; )

      I recently made a new pair of jeans for him, as I couldn't find any that were long enough.

      I got the pattern for the jeans from here, DoA. It's for Mano, though, so I had to resize it. And it still is too big... I wanted skinny jeans at first, but baggy style is as good. And well, they're long enough.)

    13. He is so cute--I just shoved pipe cleaners in mine and they worked really well. Do not have to worry about scratching the joints. I too am sick of the rain (here in western wa.) Made a faux fur wig for my guy but am still looking for the right wig for him. Not happy with any of them so far :| Love Salem's glasses too.

    15. Has anyone of you tried Dollmore MSD-sized boy clothes for you Mono boys?

      My Mono owns Nine9 clothes, but they tend to be a bit short. So what about other brands?

    16. Reika I think it's a hit or miss -Limho's are rather slim and Dollmore is mostly made for regular MSDs so some things might be a bit too big. On the other hand I had Dollmore clothes that were really small and did not really fit regular MSDs xD
      What I can say is that Withdoll trousers fit rather well, also stuff from MIYA.

    17. Dollmore might be a bit short. I have a few things and they fit more or less fine in the waist and look long enough when he's standing, they just tend to hike up when he's sitting. Same with shirts - Juuuust a tad short. Not too bad, they just won't be as big as they look in dollmore's pictures.

      Salem has some pants from Monstrodesign on Etsy (I think she has an account here, but I can't for the life of me think of what it is... Blinkeke?) which are really more like leggings and they also fit pretty well.

      He can also wear Luts clothes - stuff they made for Minifees when they had them and some Kid Delf stuff. I have the Yuz set and he can fit in it well enough.

      To me, the issue seems to be not so much that they're skinnier then most MSDs (Although they are) but that they have longer limbs - Salem is taller then both my Minifee and my (human) Soom Littlegem. (INTERESTINGLY he's about the same height as my DZ Moment - not taking the flower head into account.)

      Mostly I hide short pants by sticking him in boots - It suits his style anyway and they help him stand a bit since he tends to want to curl up in a ball of emo.

      I guess I'll just have to try it, then. I thought of getting a hoodie for my boy - if it doesn't fit him, it still may fit my girl, which would not be bad as well.

      Normally I sew everything for my dolls, but I'm having a hard time to find good patterns for boy clothes. Seems like I have to search a bit more.
