1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

LIMHWA To You Sara discussion part 3

Jun 20, 2013

    1. Limhwa is a one woman shop. I can see that there could be a hold in production and JunkySpot could be waiting for status.

    2. I thought about it, but I wish there was an announcement somewhere.
I've sent an email to limhwa asking if they're still taking orders. Even if they say yes, I'm a bit worried about the whole bank transfer thing :sweat

    3. I hope Limhwa replies to you soon. I noticed they were gone from JunkySpot too, I really hope they restock.

The JunkySpot email address I've gotten answers from before is info @ junkyspot.com

      Good luck ❤️

    4. Sometimes she has taken a production break to work on something new.

    5. I emailed JunkySpot on Dec 2 asking if they would be able to restock these girls but no response yet (which is unusual in my experience). There isn’t any notice of discontinuation anywhere so I hope Nancy is right and Limhwa is just taking a break to work on something new. :)

    6. Hello! Could someone please tell me the price of a new Limhwa Toyou Sara from Junkyspot? I can't check since they're still not in stock ^^

    7. On my wishlist I have a tan Toyou Sara priced at $255. I think the NS ones were $240.

    8. How often do they tend to restock the 27cm Limhwa?

    9. I emailed JunkySpot to ask about that a couple weeks ago.

Unfortunately, it seems Limhwa suddenly required a certain amount be ordered per time period, and JunkySpot doesn’t do like that. So there won’t be any more unless Limhwa suddenly changes their mind, but Emory doesn’t expect that to happen, saying communication was already “spotty at best”.
      :atremblin

    10. I emailed them, facebooked them, tweeted them about Limhwa.... And they never replied <_<
Glad to finally know what's up though.

    11. Yeah, I sent the first email several months ago, then re sent it a couple weeks ago and got the reply ^^; That's the first and only time they hadn't replied to me though, and I've pestered them quite a lot over the years! Maybe they were just really busy with their move? :huh?:

    12. You could find out what the number required is and see if you can do a group order. Liwhwa is a small shop, I believe just the artist so she may not wish to order the minimum number of dolls required from the casting service and have to store the extras until she gets orders.

    13. Ouch! I bought several outfits at PNW BJD Expo, betting on getting one sooner or later. Thanks

    14. Well, in positive news, I emailed EOS Doll directly at the address they list on their site and asked if I could buy a Yume. She said yes! It took a little back and forth, but I ordered her and am in the process of paying via direct bank transfer (the only payment method she takes right now).

So at least Yume can be ordered singly! I wonder about the other girls?

    15. That's great news! I'm glad that you're able to get Yume.

    16. Please let us know how that goes! I also inquired about mari a while back but I was too nervous to place an order without paypal :sweat

    17. I understand. I have emailed EOS Doll / Limhwa back and forth about a lot of other dolls and new releases and stuff for many many years now. And I remember another forum user ordering a To L directly using the bank transfer method several years back. So I have a lot of trust and faith in Limhwa. I'm positive the transaction will go well :))) I'll let you know!

    18. I just emailed EOS today and will let you know what they say! Kathy

    19. Limhwa sent me confirmation that they received my transfer on May 4 :) So the wait begins.

I went through the Limhwa tags in Insta and Flickr and there aren't many Yumes out there, seems like. She's gorgeous though and I'm really excited I was able to order one!
