just got home and found a parcel from nikki in my mailbox! i'm thrilled to finally have her here though not that impressed that the post office just stuck a tracked package in my box! :P technically my little girl is actually ellemeno but somewhere along the line he morphed into a girl for me and since it is an angel body and he/she came nude other than the certificate i don't suppose it matters. anyway he/she came packed in an adorable yellow backpack as a carry case. i'm out at drs all day tomorrow as well, but if i manage to get home while there is still light, i'll take pictures of my new cutie with her carry case. then i get to find her eyes, and a wig and she can raid the pukifee box for clothes
i got home late today, then had to shovel snow from the driveway till it got dark so no time for pics today. but im home tomorrow so should be able to put some eyes in and take pics.
finally got a chance to take a picture My little frog prince(ss) is here by onebluestocking, on Flickr she only has temporary eyes, these ones are too big, they gap badly so i have to order smaller ones, no hair (apparently she takes a 4-5 wig the only size i don't have lying around so i have to order that too or make her one, and all but isn't she cute? right now she is dressing as a boy because she insists that girls can't be bald but once she has hair she will become a princess. i'll also be redoing the face later on to make it more uniquely mine, but nikki's face is cute enough that i'll enjoy it for a while first. the resin on this doll is just lovely and the backpack he/she came travelling in is adorable and makes a great carry case!
so i just found her eyes in the pocket of her back pack. thought i would let others know in case they were looking. because they are so tiny i didn't feel them there and didn't think to look till i was trying to find out what size to order and found she should have come with eyes. i went back through all the packaging agin looking for them and finally thought to check the pocket anyway it gives me another excuse to spam my cutie. i'll probably still order her new ones. these are really pretty dark turquoise/teal but they photograph almost black, and i prefer eyes lighter eyes for photos.

auntbear she is sooo cute but she has already a lot of work to do I'm agree with you she will be better with clear eyes and is she has a little name ?
Liya is pleased to announce that she has hair! it's only temporary, but she got tired of people thinking that she was a boy so we went through the wig box and chopped up a wig for her. now she is asking santa for "real" hair for christmas. poor girl, hope she has something else on her list, cause i hate to tell her that santa has toys not hair in his sleigh.
thanks, i think it more likely to be here in the new year, but her temporary wig is really growing on us, so we don't mind too much.
Hello All, I just recently discovered Nikki Britt and her cuties. Has anyone else gotten one that they can spam? I've ordered an EllaBella, and now the wait begins. I saw a picture on her site of Faber Elf in Marshmallo that melted my heart but of course you can't get one-oh well... I believe some spam could help with the wait if you all could be so kind.
Well, I went to her site and ordered a pre-paid full-set, and it let me. When I looked, I saw that I had in fact been charged by paypal. I had just assumed that it was a pre-order for the April release. The site does mention an April 10th release, which I had taken for April of this year. If all that is not true then I will be expecting a refund. Now you've got me wondering...
that was april last year. the site also says that it is sold out so it may be a mistake that it let you order. i hope for you sake that it was not
Bummer...you cannot believe the stuff I've ordered for her already. I guess I'd better contact Nikki and tell her to fix her site if so, and also to get me a refund. I suppose I need to look for another doll in this size to inherit all Ellabella's stuff that's coming.
