Well auntbear you were right. I just got an email from Nikki, (really quickly I might add), that Ellabella is in fact sold out. She said she would be fixing the site, and of course she is refunding my paypal account. She was very sweet. So do you have any suggestions for me to get a doll of this size? I really like the sweet innocence in Nikki's dolls faces, I'm not a fan of grown-up looking little girls. Any help would be appreciated.
that's too bad. i would get on her mailing list and watch both her flickr and facebook for future releases, which since she is a solo artist are unfortunately few and far between, but definitely worth it! i waitied a long time for my ellabella, after finding her far too late to get a felix. you could also put up a wtb thread and see if someone has an ellebella or ellemeno they are willing to part with. as far as other dolls in this size, there are lots! of varying availability and a lot of the innocence depends on the faceup. fairyland pukifees are very popular. and easy to find new (direct from fairyland or in the us from denver doll emporiium) or second hand. they have a wide variety of sculpts that can look very child like with the right faceup especially ante or bonnie. luts tiny delf is another easy to find doll in this size. they are available direct or in the us from fabric friends and dolls, or often here second hand. lati yellows are also this size. the current wait for them direct is over 9 months right now and they only open orders during events, so second hand is often a better bet, though it can be more expensive. rosenleid mondays are also this size, and some of them have very sweet faces. and irreal dolls engendritos (enyo, dryo, etc) are another (pricey!) option you can sometimes find on the marketplace, or if you are patient they go on sale once a year or so,since they are also a single artist outfit. i'm sure there are others but those are the ones i know are at least possible to get off hand i'd recommend going on the various threads and on flickr and looking at the dolls to see which other ones appeal to you. if you get a custom faceup on a basic doll you can probably find one that while not identical to ellebella, has the innocent look that you are looking for.
Hi auntbear, So sorry I haven't gotten back to you before now-a little slammed at home. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your thorough and thoughtful response to me. You have given me so much to think about, and I promise I am taking everything you have said to heart. I am truly touched by what you have done. I will follow the leads you have given me, but I will probably also try to see if I can find an Ellabella somewhere. Although I find I'm also enchanted with Faber and the others in her group. All that being said, is there any spam to be had on this group? I'd love to see what you have done with your little darlings.
I saw a little one in sale on facebook pages you should watch at nikki britt fb page or tiny bjd sale pages I hope you will find one Happy : mine is on the way I'm so excited after the long wait to see her in person

i'm wishing i could have just bought the wig. i have lots of clothes since she is the same size as my pukifee, tiny delfs, lati yellows, enyo, etc for clothes and shoes, but she looks a little younger than my other girls and the wigs i have all look a bit thick and old on her. i still hope to make her a wig that is just right, but i've just been too busy
I would love to see your wig creation I tried once .... Huge disaster lol It's really complicated to find nice wig for this size (try to find some pretty one for my lati white actually ... the nice one are so expensive
Oh Loofthewood I am in love! Fanfan is sooo sweet, and she has very soulful eyes. I am very happy for you. How adorable is her hat? I look forward to seeing more of her as she explores her new world. Hopefully others on the group will also share what their little ones are up to.

Nikki we are now Facebook friends and she told me this: "...In Ellemenno babies are all sold but I will have a version of him and his sister at the auction here on my Facebook page later. I will receive guests. Another doll will be available Olivia, and it will be available in about a month..."
i never remember to check in with facebook. if someone else does could they post the preorder info on this thread when it becomes available?
