I'm sad to see this thread died. ;__; I am really interested in Sarubia and was hoping to get more information.

 

Very sad indeed this thread is so inactive! These dolls are just amazing! If you have questions about them @PrincessEv maybe I might be able to help you? I have a gloomy Sarubia, and I'm considering a normal Sarubia in the future. I really love all the Sarubia's

She is lovely, @Sodabeentjes ! Her hair is especially pretty with that faceup. If I may ask, what size clothing and shoes would you recommend for these dolls? I have heard that Azone clothing fits, but there are multiple sizes of those. I'm wondering if Blythe stuff would fit these dolls as well.

 

@PrincessEv Thank you I dress her mainly in Blythe clothes actually, though not everything fits. Her hands are a lot wider then Blythe hands, so narrow sleeves will not fit, unless you take the hands off the doll to dress them. Sarubia is also a little taller then Blythe, but that's mainly in the legs. Some dresses will look more like tunics. About Azone sizes, I don't have azones, but I think she might be in width close to the S or Xs? She is thinner then Blythe. In height she is probably more close to M and L, but they will be bigger in width. But that's just my guess!

As for shoes, I think azone shoes will work best, some Blythe shoes fit. I only have Blythe shoes, and some fit. But not all, as her feet aren't as flexable as Blythe. But the coolcat shoes I have do fit, the ones with laces or zippers will work best, rather then the slide in shoes.

If you want I could take a comparison picture of her next to a Blythe, so you can see the difference in sizes. Oh btw, mine has the longs legs.

 

I was able to find some photos of Sarubia next to other dolls, including two azones and a blythe, so that's not necessary unless you really want to. Thank you so much for all the information, though! It's really helpful and I think I will save for one, especially since I have so many other dolls that size. I think she'd fit right in.

 

@Sodabeentjes It looks like @PrincessEv doesn't need it anymore, but I would love to see... I have a few dolls this scale, but they're a bit taller than the Muse Harmony girls. (More Momoko sized.)

 

My goodness, she is a cute little thing! I love that face! I would like to see her in a picture compared to Blythe is you could please share one. She looks like a lot of fun!

 

On second thought, more reference photos WOULD be nice.

 

@Idoru @nightowl @PrincessEv I finally got around to take the comparison picture for you
From left to right: Licca, Obitsu 23, Muse Harmony & Blythe.
The body is quite close to Obitsu23, but a little wider in the hips. It's longer in the torso and legs then Blythe, and Blythe is wider in the shoulders. My girls has the long legs, I think she will be closer in length with the shorter legs to Blythe & Licca. I will have a Pure Neemo XS body soon, so I can compare that too if you want

@nightowl You're welcome I really adore her, it's such a fun size ^^ The biggest problem I have with dressing her are that the hands don't fit through the armholes. I'm waiting on some fist hands for her, maybe that will solve the problem!

Hello everyone! I am joining this thread because two days ago I received a Muse Sarubia in the mail. Funny thing was I didn't order her!!! So I started freaking out when I got a doll in the mail.

I contacted Little Monica to see if some sort of shipping mistake had been made, but turns out I won the "Question Investigation" Winter event contest lol! xD I didn't even know I had won because I didn't get an email, and I don't check their Notice's frequently.

So I got this cute pixie doll, but dang I don't even know where to start finding clothes/wigs/eyes/shoes for her. I started looking in this thread, and luckily found some leads....but she is definitely the most unique size amongst all my BJDs. I will try to share more pictures soon. In the meantime, anyone else care to share their dolls? I still don't even have a name for mine... ^_^;;;

 

@Dybbuk Wow! Lucky you!! Congrats on winning her!! I can't wait for pictures! I might want a normal Muse Sarubia too someday. But having the gloomy Sarubia, and a msd sized Sarubia I'm not sure yet haha Which legs does yours have? I was thinking maybe I would like Sarubia on the basic legs, so they have a height difference.

I dress mine in medium azone clothes. All the dresses have fit pretty well :3

@mlefever Go to the picture you want to share on your flickr, press on the little sideways arrow icon on the lower right, and choose BBcode. You can just copy/paste that into here, and it will work (no need for clicking the picture icon). You could otherwise always just link it directly, so we can just click and view btw I do this on PC, if you're on a smarthone/tablet I wouldn't know how it works

 

Yeah mobile won't work like that... I remembered I have Photobucket and that lets me do it.

Thanks! It was a lot harder to make then I thought it would be... came out a little thick, but I like it overall. She's my little pink sugar doll. I'm waiting on her fists and high heel legs to get here from dde.

Oh btw the shoes are lil bunny 9... and they barely fit. She can't wear socks, that's for sure.
