1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Little Monica Questions

Jan 18, 2026 at 12:35 AM

    1. Hi, I came across an auction for a blank doll on eBay. The top picture of the doll with a face-up etc. really caught my eye. I found out that it was a Little Monica, Little Sophia. I came here and found the company information and looked at the English site and the site for the U.S. dealer. I just finished reading the thread for the MSD size Monica dolls and was surprised to see the chatter about the company closing back in 2022. The English site and Denver Doll Emporium list the dolls as pre-orders, and the English site still has things like eyes for sale. Are they really gone? Can I still get one from the U.S. dealer? What is going on?

    2. So little Monica did close its door back in 2022 but it has come back since! They changed how they handle preorders and have even released new dolls. It ended up being more of a hiatus as opposed to them permanently shutting their doors

    3. Yes, they announced their return in 2024! I've got a preorder placed with DDE right now; still waiting to see how long it'll take to arrive, haha.

    4. Wow, that's great news! It was so interesting to read the old thread and see people's reactions to new releases through the company's history. I still have a few questions though.

For example, I read in the old thread that using the 12mm eyes instead of the 14mm could make the dolls look a little more grown up, like young teenagers. However, the old postings also said that it didn't make much difference for the sculpt I'm the most interested in, Little Sophia. Still, I would love to see some comparison pictures. I also liked the wig that was used in the picture of the full doll, but the home site doesn't seem to have it for sale. Does anybody have any clues or thoughts on a good look a like? Finding clothes and shoes in the right size seems a little challenging too.

    5. I've found that many clothing sized for Minifee (especially shirts) fit Little Monica dolls well. However, I only have male dolls so I haven't wrestled with finding shirts that fit over their busts. Shoes were a little easier as minifee shoes, especially soft shoes like sneakers, fit easily.

    6. I highly recommend asking in the discussion thread specifically for Little Harmony dolls; a lot of the time owners of the sculpt are happy to provide photos for questions like these, and that's where you're most likely to catch the eye of someone with that sculpt. I've reached out to doll owners directly before when there's only one or two doll profiles for the sculpt I'm checking to ask if they'd be willing to help, but it's far easier to find someone when there's a discussion thread.

    7. Thank you for your suggestion. I just wanted to try my luck with a general post first since the thread for this size of Little Harmony dolls hasn't been updated in over a year.

    8. Pretty much anyone who posted in it is probably going to get notified of a new post, since DoA automatically has you "watch" threads you post in or start. I'd guess the lack of conversation is due to the break LM took from production.
