Lovely gestures from the doll companies

With my SS El I received from Luts this week I not only got the Juri B head (which, granted, was expected) but I also received -- labelled as 'a gift for you -- a free Delf wig as well.

I have no idea why I got the wig as well, but it was clearly marked as a gift and I'm definitely not complaining! (Especially as Kyran, my original El, immediately claimed it! )

 

I almost always get some sort of candy from the various companies I've ordered from - Cherishdoll sent this yummy orange loli! I've also gotten a pair of cute girlie shoes, a pair of eyes, extra hands, and a plethora of postcards. Definitely an Asian thing though, outside of orders placed within the bjd community/anime I've never gotten any sort of little giftie....^.^

 

I ordered a wig from DZ and it came in a few days ago. At the bottom of the box they had packed in a tiny Hamtaro figure x3 it was awesome.

 

i was at cobjd this last summer, and a couple of the sellers were really sweet with including little things.

orientdoll was one of the sellers that were there, needless to say i kissed my money goodbye and handed it over to them, there were acouple of hakama/kimono/haori sets that i wanted one part of, but not all of it, they quite happilly switched it up so i could buy what i wanted and not what i didn't, then they gave me rement sushi free! i love them.

there was a woman sell, what i think was masterpiece eyes, not only was she really sweet, with all her customers, but she also gave us all these adorable little flashing magnet pins.

another woman from who i bought a bunch of fantasy clothes and the like (clokes, etc...) cant remember her name, (wish i could i'd go buy more) was sweet, helpful, and incredibly patient. she was the first person, i tried to use the paypal pay by phone system with, and it utterly failed. she couldn't take creditcards, so she held my stuff for me while i went to the lobby to get money at the atm, only to have the stupid thing spit my card at me and tell me i had input the wrong pin (wtf?!) so i call my mom who's cat-sitting while i'm away so that she can get my card info, only to find out they called the house while i was away, with all my big purchases, i had alerted the fraud detectin thingy, and they just wanted to make sure i'm me, which is good, but when it comes down to my little problem they look up my pin for me read it back to me, and its the same one i just used. which is what i thought, so ifigured i had just mistyped, and headed back to the machine (keep in mind that its been a little over an hour by now) only to find out that because its a colorado card you only get one shot at the correct pin, and now could not get in at all. so i'm sitting in the lobby pouting ( i really wanted that cloak(s)) writing a mini letter of apology to the sweety at the counter, when i a brilliant flash of intelligence attacks me! i call my mom back and walk her through the steps on my home comp, while walking myself back to seller room (2 hrs), i get the info to complete the transaction for her. she puts it in a bag and tells me she'll call my room when the transaction clears. AND she incudes two sheets of free tattoo's. i love her too.

 

with my thomas, iplehouse gave me some extra elastic, two small s hooks, a large s hook, and two replacement headcap magnets.

i love that they included it, because i think it'll have a lot more 'use' than sweets (oh the terrors of finding replacement S hooks in a hurry...)

I got some soap in a Dollmore order once. XD It was kind of random, but it smelled really good. With another order I got a free pair of eyes! They weren't anything I'd ever use, but it's really nice of doll companies to add extras like that.

Of course as a business it is an incentive to come back and buy more, isn't it? A doujinshi seller I buy from on ebay sends extras sometimes -- doujin flyers and stationary, and I'm a little ashamed to admit that it's brought me back for more. XD

 

^_^ Dollzone gave me a tiny hamtaro figure when Keiichiro was shipped... Iplehouse packed a free shirt in with Tarquin which at first i was like oh no they sent the wrong shirt but when i looked i was like oooh yay he has 2 shirts now... Luts put in some neat post cards with pretty pictures of their dolls in with Alessandro

 

Elfdoll sent a lovely shiny gold metal bookmark and eyeglasses. Domuya sent extra eyes and a wig. It's a wonderful gesture and makes me feel as if my business really is appreciated.

 

^_^ I always love getting asian candies. I got some nice little lollipops with my dollmore wig order that came in. And I recall getting something before with Laban I think... Or was it Yen? I can't wait to see if Soom sends anything with Sabik. It's always nice to find an unexpected treat.

 

When I got my Charisma from Junkyspot, Emory included the grasping hands, a t-shirt, Collon, Hi-chew, a mini rubik's cube, a Supermario Ghost, and a little hamtaro figure. He's beyond awesome.

 

At Christmas time, Dollmore had a note on their website that they were including a Christmas present in the boxes, and sure enough, it was this strange little felt bag with a hunchbacked Santa Claus on it. Inside was a whole stack of identical postcards, then a pair of MSD socks and a cute MSD shirt that I had ironically been looking at, but had decided not to get.

I love Dollmore and their little gifts.

 

I got my order of clothes from Dollmore today, which I sent the 31th of December. I got a pouch with christmas ornaments on, and inside was christmas cards and a pen with the logo on, and a pair of white socks and white eyes! I was like: asdlkjghyt - free stuff!!! Totally gonna order with Dollmore again.

 

I've never gotten anything from the big companies themselves, (Luts, Dollmore, etc.) but Junkyspot tucks in all kinds of little goodies - candy, key rings, etc.) every time they send things.

 

Wow I didn't know they did that, I'm looking forward to my prezzies already!

Ahh...I ADORE Dollmore.
they sent a lolipop, free eyes (a pretty blue color), a T-shirt and a whole bunch of UBER CUTE doll cards....
Since I didnt buy alot from luts all I got were these extentions..but the weird thing is... they matched my hair exactly. ((but im a Redhead soo its hard to match my hair color))

I can't wait to see what my Orientdoll Dong comes with

 

Doll more makes me happy, I can't wait until I can afford to get a model doll back & a few other goodies. XD;;; Did you try the lollipop? I still haven't I'm afraid to.

 

lol The lolly I got from dollmore was a very sweet caramelized brown sugar kind of taste. Pretty good but very sugary.

 

Yeah, I tried the lolipop....but I finished it in two seconds... it was Butterscotch I think. I was yummy, or maybe I just ate it because it was sweet. (Im known to eat anything with sugar on or in it)

 

Hmmm, maybe I should try it then, I don't know sometimes what other countries think are candy. XD;;; Well except for Japan & they are iffy sometimes. *laughs*

 

I ordered twice from Dollmore during their chrisms promotion and got several eyes and some free cloths, on set was really nice and candy and pens it was really cool, especially since I was afraid my Christmas gift was going to be nude till I could make clothes.
