  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I've always loved that when we got our Kill_U 2nd head, he came with color photos of Kian, Kayan, and Kill_U. Not printed material, real photos. It just touched me, like I was getting some childhood pictures or something. :-)

    2. When I got Frank, I found that Soul Doll had included an extra set of eyes and a note saying that they were a gift, because they had taken so long to ship him. I was really surprised since it had only taken him three weeks to get here--not long at all.

    4. Hmm...I ordered (after christmas) a slew of SD boy clothes and shoes from Dollmore...and got a pair of free polkadot and lace panties!!!

      Are they trying to tell me something...? :oops:

      The sweets and chips sound interesting, though...

    6. The two times I ordered my naripons from Notdoll, they sent me 3 extra naripon wigs (aside from what they came with) and an extra set of eyes. I thought that was really sweet, as I could create so many different looks for them right out of the box. :D

      When I ordered a konji from dollmore (before the English store opened), they sent me 2 free konji outfits and buttery crackers. Another time, they sent me a free shirt with my MSD clothing order.

      Angel region sent me a cleaning sponge and an extra pair of hands (which is wonderful, because my doll is a limited ed. resin color)

      leekeworld sent me some candies

      anu sent so many people mousepads and i got some lovely photos too!

      i've also gotten nice little things from members on the board. candies and postcards!

    8. I've only purchased two dolls directly from the company, and both times I didn't get anything extra. And most of the clothes I purchase are second hand so maybe I should start buying some more directly from companies! :) Seriously tho, I think doll companies are so sweet and have such great customer service. They really care about their customers. :)

    9. when I ordered from Ssin they send me sweeties
      and a Purse which I still use

      when I ordered my Nari-pon Pansy form Luts , they didn't send me the correct face-up
      so they send me a new head !
      and apologies ,I was thrilled ...
      Ok I didn't get what I ordered but they were wonderful , and I love both face-ups
      so much so one head is now on a Lillica body

    11. Oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me, Sher. Notdoll does send wonderful little extras like wigs. They also include a cute little, glittery card with nari-pon birth certificate. I thought that was great!

      CH has sent clothes, tiny sweets, eyelashes, and lots of beautiful postcards. Anu sent a free pair of jeans when I ordered jeans and wigs for my Hound from Tensiya, because she thought it had taken too long to fill the order (it didn't!). I've had a Y!J seller send a second surprise pair of jeans with an outfit I bought there. Tensiya, again, sent an extra outfit (pants and shirt) with my Haute Doll Hound. And Dollmore sent the buttercream crackers, yum, and a Christmas stocking with my 60cm Narin.

      They're so kind, these people who make our lovely BJDs and their stuff.

      KohakuTenshi, I really think there's no reason for you to be "sad" because you got fewer goodies. There's a lot of variation in the extras from one shipment to the next, even within the same company (CH, for example, because I have the most experience with them). I always assume that the extras depend on what the company has on hand at any given moment, and how flush they are with petty cash to buy goodies just then, and probably how rushed they are when they pack the box. It's lovely of these artists to include anything at all. Anyway, I always get excited when I see the gorgeous postcards of dolls I didn't order but wish I had . . .

    13. I have gotten my dolls second hand and the sellers included little goodies for them ^_^ I got two wigs, a nice pair of glass eyes, some friends2Bmade clothes and a tiny stuffed bunny with Charlie. Juniper's head came with a little pantyhose dress and some acrylic eyes.

      Now I want to order some leeke wigs for the sweets, LoL!

    14. Lol. Same here. XD I ordered a boy doll outfit from Dollmore and they sent me a pretty little rose pin with it. It's cute though, and I am saving it for if I ever buy a girl because I think it would match her perfectly.

      Dream of Doll always sends a free gift with their dolls. For boy dolls they send a ring and for girl dolls they send hair clips.

    15. I've gotten little candies and things from E-bay sellers. Dollmore sent a free pair of eyes, shirt, and bag of prawn crackers when I ordered Julian. :D It probably sounds wierd, but I enjoy the cute little gifts just as much as what I actually order. Some people/companies are just sooo sweet. <3

    16. I ordered Blanche during a special event from Luts so I'm not surprised I didn't get any "extras" they did send a lovely postcard featuring Mini-fee Chiwoo and Soo on it though, I thought that was cute.

    17. How unbelieveably kind of the sellers! Typically, as I've learned from my Asian/Oriental friends, they will do special things out of gratitude just to show that they appreciate your business. For instance, in Japan, if a cafe` has a grand opening, anyone who visits and orders that day will get it for free and typically the owners will say "It's on the house as long as you spread the word" So like, "if you tell everyone about us, then your meal/coffee/dessert, is free" So perhaps it's kind of their way of saying "Thanks for spending so much money, here's a gift(s) on the house" I haven't ordered from anyone but ravendolls on DoA, so I'm not sure how it works with the doll companies.

      I wish North America would do things like that. We're so stingy and money hungry in this country...however, there are some people that actually do things like that here, they're just few and far between.

    18. Eep, that reminds me of metropolismania when business owners will ask you to run around and tell everyone about their business. ^^ (I think those towns are based on towns in Japan)

      Anyway, Luts sent me a sweet, handwritten Christmas card along with my last group order, and 2 neck pieces because I mentioned that I had 2 dolls, no questions asked ^^ I also routinely get little candies and snacks, and Dollmore sent me an extra shirt once :)
      Individual sellers in Asia do tend to send me little treats more often, but people around here do it too once in a while. I've gotten a bath cube and free bracelets and things...what darlings!

    19. DOD sent me 4 extra pairs of eyelashes when I got my U, but I think they might have done that because they combined two of my orders, so I'd paid shipping twice ^^;

    20. Both times I ordered shoes and eyes from Dollmore they came with gifts. I got a Christmas stocking in December and back in October they sent a me a pair of MSD sized thigh high stockings. I love the shrimp crackers that Dollmore has sent both times. They're just so delicious.
