Reviving this thread to show off my newest Baby Delf acquisition. I also recently got a Volks DearSD for more of that big baby chubby goodness. This is Theodore, or Theo for short. He's a Gabriel in WS and is a living teddy bear. (Reshelled from a Myou DouDou in WS.) Debating on giving him brown hair instead of blonde, but he's adorable with either. I haven't had a male big baby in a while and need to get him some more masculine clothing eventually~
You really have embraced this size, haven't you. What a lovely group they make. I've added a couple of DearSD hybrids (slightly bigger than Baby Delf but still able to share clothes) and an Amooooore doll bybrid of similar size to my family, but they're all Off-Topic hybrids as they have repainted Disney Animator heads. I actually have a Dear SD as well! Though I put that head on an SD10 body and am still figuring out what head I want for the DSD body. I love how thick they are and how they can wear 18" clothes. My one irk is the DSD hands though. Baby Delf have so much lovelier hands imo. I've been curious about those Amooooore bodies. Are they resin? I've only seen them by themselves so wonder what they look like next to a Baby Delf or other big baby.
They are resin, and designed specifically for hybridding with the Disney Animator heads. The same clothes that fit Baby Delf work well on them. I thought I had some pictures of the Amooooore Doll with Little Marina's Baby Delf body, but I can't find any. I have one (very fuzzy, sorry) of it with the DearSD body and an nimators body (Disney Animators heads on BJD bodies). If I get a chance, I'll take one/some with all three bodies together Teddy
Thanks for the pic! Would love to see more when you get the chance. Looks like another dolly to add to my wishlist. Though I don't think they sell those bodies anymore? The etsy shop seems to be gone and they haven't posted on IG in nearly a year. :<

I hadn’t realized there were bodies compatiable with the animator heads! How cute! Are they still available?
The Amooooore Doll ones don't appear to be at the moment (the Etsy shop is closed) but I don't know if the shop is closed down for good or just taking a break. The Dear SD ones work nicely but you need to make a neck adaptor to attach the head with (I adapted it from the original piece holding the head to the Animator body - the pieces holding the arms on can also be used so there's three chances to get it right with each Animator body that donates a head). Baby Delf bodies might work too - I haven't tried Teddy
Does anyone happen to have a photo of one of their 40cm baby’s with a Senior Delf? Curious how they look together.

Well friends, it’s the end of an era — Luts is discontinuing the Baby Delf line per their 3rd winter event notice. They are running a 25% off sale on Baby Delf dolls/parts during the remainder of the winter event from 2024. 12. 20 (FRI) 11:00 ~ 2025.02.28 (FRI) 17:00 (KST). I’ve gotten most of what I wanted over the years but might try and get Lily before the end! The option hands are really cute & definitely recommend them if you’re on the fence!
I'd have liked a Gabriel but they didn't offer the head on it's own and I already had a body (an an unwanted head) from when they first released the line. I found an old CustomHouse Ai head that worked with the body instead. Teddy
I literally predicted (hopefully not manifested) the discontinuation of the Baby Delf Line just a few days ago on another thread. It makes me so sad. This is my favorite Luts line and I won't be able to get a single doll from it - not even my favorite. Sadly not the first time something like this has happened to me either. Joined the hobby too late, I guess.
