Ah, I remember when I saw the news post about these dolls, how could I forget them, they are so cute!! But I'm confused, the info on the bottom of Luka's page says the company default faceup is free, but when you go to the options it says the faceup is $35? Anyone know why that is?
I just discovered these amazing dolls today! I've been looking for a specific elf sculpt for one of my characters and I think I've finally found the perfect one. I'm looking at the Draculria sculpt with the short pointy elf ears. However, I'm getting confused with all the optional ear choices -there are no pictures with each ear labeled so I don't know which is which! I'm thinking the ones pictured on the head are the short pointy ones after looking at all the other head pictures... well at least I hope so, lol.
Shawnee: When they first came out, they had a promotion to get the faceup free, but that is now over. I guess they just didn't update the page. Kurogane: The head will come with the ears pictured, you have to pay extra to get other ears, as far as I know. But, for an answer you can email them, but they didn;t reply to someone with that email or mine. So, I went to their ebay page and messaged them there and got a reply right away.
Ah, ok. That makes sense! Thanks kelpie I definitely have to get one of these cuties someday, and I totally look forward to everyones box openings if they decide to do one
Kurogane: I just saw the head only comes with human ears. The full doll comes with the elf ears though, I think. Sorry for misinformation. Shawnee: Hopefully my box opening will be SOON! I ordered Skylark about twenty two days ago.

I think I will, actually! I ordered her in the pink tone. I also ordered her with Lightfly's wings and feelers to make her a faerie!
xkelpiex -Yeah, the ears are really confusing! I did do some detective work and I'm sure the ears pictured on the head are the 'parallel elf ears'. I reached this by looking at a Magic Time Draculria doll listing on ebay which said the ears were included but were an $8.00 value. In the drop down menu (on Milky Queen's website) they cost $8 and well, they are parallel to the head.. Anyway, I hope I made the best choice.... so I ordered the head yesterday with the parallel ears. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your girl! Especially the body as I'm curious about it. I put off getting a whole doll as my character needs a slim more 'sculptural' body. It'll be interesting to see how the Magic Time resin compares to some of my other white skin dolls.
Yeah, Draculria is a more mature ssulpt, so I can see her going on a slimmer or even more mature figure.
I have just arrived on Doa and am newto the hobby. This is the first time I have seen these dolls and they look amazing!! Might have to do some shopping !!

My Draculria head is going to be a boy once I find the correct body, lol. I'm hoping the new DZ bb 26cm bodies will work... I have three so I really like the shape. Only issue will be the resin matching and I hope it's not too off for white skin. If it is, well, no worries, I can wait a long time as the head is the most important, lol. xkelpiex -Has your doll arrived yet? She must be getting so close!
Augh, no, the waiting is killing me! They said 30-35 days before shipping and it's been 33 so far. If she doesn't ship this week I'll just about die ;.; but, once I get her, there will be a box opening thread and more posted here, so look out.
xkelpiex -I saw the box opening! Congratulations! She is so cute, and those wings are amazing. It's almost been a month since I ordered my Draculria head. I'm getting impatient for him (Axel) to come home. I did order the wrong elf ears though... I saw a picture of the 'parallel elf ears' and they are not what I was thinking they were. Oh well, I like them and maybe I'll love them when I see them on his head. I just went to check my order and it's been shipped out! Yay! In less than a month, too!
I hope it all works out for you on the ear front. If you don't like them, maybe explain that because they had no examples you ordered wrng and would like to trade?
I do like them but they are not what I was wanting for my character. I might mod the human ears so they have elf points on the tips. I'm going to email them and ask what the 'human elf ears' look like. Myabe they are what I want. Heck, I wish they would let you order ALL the different ears instead of one extra pair! Then you could change the ears according to mood, lol. I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures of your Oona!
xkelpiex, she's adorable! I'm thinking about getting those butterfly parts, at least; are the magnets pre-installed in them? (I will probably eventually end up with a full doll, too, but I've been questing for fairy parts and they're so adorable...)
