Magical Angel 1/3 discussion

I am enjoying my Magical angel body, but oh my god I feel like MA makes like the tiniest channels for the elastic. x_x restringing is a butt.

Does anyone have a side comparison of the Abby model for the medium and large bust? I see a whole bunch of front shots, but no side shots, with or without clothing. I'm definitely buying an Abby next, but torn on whether to get medium, large, or even a MALE. Ugh, the choices. :P

Anyone able to oblige?

 

I can post a side view of the Amiee sculpt on the medium bust later, if that helps.

 

well, medium and large busted bodies are standard so any female head and body combo is the same.
Mitsuko_Elric has a medium busted body with an Amiee head. I have l large busted body with an Abby head but i had the fangs removed.

 

On a side note:
if you do not want the Abby sculpt to have fangs when you order, you must clearly state, "No Fangs" or fanges you get. I have both before and after De-fanged images. (i had her mouth redone only)

So, I'm so impressed by these bodies I'm really considering getting one for my Migidoll head, but I'm so confused by the resin tones! >o< The Migi-head I have is in normal skin (when they stopped with a/b). Does anyone have any comparisons/ thoughts on what tone would be the best match?

Migidoll should be a pretty close match to Mirodoll, Fantasy doll and popodoll, so if anyone could provide comparisons between MA and these that'd be awesome as well!

Putting all my hope and trust in you guys! *intense look O.O*

Im just glad i had both Types of the BJD you were looking for so i could do this! i only have the two 1/3 ladies an a 1/4 lady, as well as one handsome 1/3 man! so the fact that i had the reference photos you needed made my DAY!

I've done a lot of research and decided to get a Magical angel body and a Supia Rosy head, and let my Migidoll head wait just a little longer for a body (Sooowwy poor head!) >o<;;

I'll be ordering both the head and body first thing tomorrow! *So excited* I really hope it'll be a good match, but from what I've found Migidoll and Supia should be a pretty close match ^-^

oh, by the way everyone here, with MA, i sent an email to "Amy" about a faceup and i got a semi-Custom faceup for free!
of course, my abby sculpt came with (at the time)non advertised fangs... so i had those removed, the mouth ONLY Redone.

eh, My POINT i think simply was that if you were wanting a faceup done on a MA head, just tell them what lip color, and eyeshaddow/blush color you want!
"Amy" did my Abby's and didnt charge a penny extra!

I never realized Evelyn was pink... Anyway, the normal white looks like it's about the same color as the mirodoll body.
And Mitsuko has a custom face up as well.I sent a picture and some written instructions on how I wanted her face to look and they even put her eyelashes in for me after they said they wouldn't. I was beyond thrilled. They didn't charge any extra for it either.

 

It's weird of me to say, because I never really felt this way before about it...but I think I like my clear resin body without any head at all...

Well, being that it an unusual BJD Resin type, It may look better that way. being your doll, YOUR Character, its your choice.

Here's one from a few months ago, since I haven't taken anything recently...

The chest modding I did was too rough, but meh...I still like it.

Like it's made of water...I mentioned a while back, if you want to see pictures, feel free to ask.

 

The resin does look really awesome! It seems like putting a non-transparent head on it just takes away from some of how awesome it is. Do you think it would look cool with a mythical head? Like a water sprite or something? (Just offering ideas)
