I just couldn't resist the lovely tines from Maskcat dolls at Dolliverse last month. So a total unplanned doll came home with me, I even forgot to ask her mold name. Over here her name is Ruth https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2900/14606294373_faf5d7cfdb_z.jpg Thank you very much to the helpful ladies at the Maskcat booth!
awww~ so nice to see you and your new tiny girl here too! she looks so cute together with your little cat! (thanks again that I could see such a cat in real too~! *___* as I said to you, I wish I could have a pug someday for one of my dolls~ xD ) and you can find her mold name written on her certificate! ^^ it's in her tiny box under the pillow~ ^__~ greetings, Michi
Congrats, Biggy! What a sweet girl, and lovely surprise. I haven't taken any pictures of my Aruna yet, but she has grown totally into my heart. I'm in the process of trying out clothes on my tiny dolls (I have a lot of clothes from different makers and lots). And to my big surprise Aruna fits everything from the Mary Kate and Ashley doll, except for the pants. Some of the styles is a little too mature for her, but there's a lot of cute stuff also. It depends on our taste, I guess. I will report back if I find more that fits her.
Omg! I'm Really in love ...Mascatdoll special size are Really nice and so thin.. I've just ordered an Aruna tan without make up in layaway.. she will be perfect to become my planetdoll miniriz sister.
awww~ congrats on your tan Aruna! I can't wait to see first pictures of her here! they can wear Pullip and Blythe clothes (as you probably saw, Maskcat have some clothes for them in their shop too: http://www.maskcatdoll.com/mmioutfits01.html ^^ ) but I would recommend Blythe clothes, because the probability is higher that these clothes fits on them better, especially if the clothes have sleeves! ^^ because in the sleeves of Pullip clothes are often no elastic bands (since you can remove their arms or hands for changing clothes easily) and Blythes have no easy removable arms, so their clothes with sleeves have elastic bands in it! ^^ but both clothes types (Pullip or Blythe) fits very good on the tiny Maskcat bodies! ^^ you just have to look for the sleeves, as I tried to explain... x///D (sorry for my bad english, I hope you understood xD; ) ~Michi
How are Blythe clothes in the waistline? I found the pic below and wonder how clothes with a tighter waistline would fit. Their waist seems slimmer, but it could just be the picture of course
I love all the pictures of cute little girls. My Aruna has a new little friend, her name is Lucy. Notdoll Lucy
Wiske Nice to see you around these parts again! In my experience most Blythe clothing isn't actually sized to fit a blythe waist terribly well, so unless it looks super fitted in the seller photos, I wouldn't be too concerned. Even stock blythe clothing runs large in the waist - my pukifee and pocket fairy sugars can wear the cute shorts from my MPG blythe and my Bisou Ai who was very similar to these cuties in size could wear the stock dresses if they were sleeveless - here's a pic of one https://flic.kr/p/8R6gAe I'm really hoping to add one of these girls to the family in a few weeks!
I agree! ^^ don't be too worried about that! ^^ I tried so much different Blythe and Pullip sized clothes on our Maskcat tinies and all the Blythe sized clothes fits everytime perfectly! you should only be careful with stock outfits for Pullips, because they could be too small for them! but Blythe sized clothes are perfect for the tinies!! ^^ here you can see a photo of Sharkyras Aruna (on the left) and our own Aruna (on the right) ^__^ the Aruna on the left wears a Lati Yellow sized dress (but the skirt of the dress is a bit too short) and the Aruna on the right wears a dress made for Pullips! ^^
