Hhahahah, don't worry!!! I've to go and watch mine before writing nothing, because I want jeans and Tshirts from Nine9style too, and in the last second, I decided to buy first the things I wanted from TTYA xDD I'll pay attention to your clothes from nine)style

Mine, now, is wearing SD sneakers from Alice's Collection, but without the shoes laces because they are a little small: Shoes for BJD Dolls - BJD Accessories, Dolls - Alice's Collections

 

I haven't shared my Meri (Merry head, on modded Luts Delf body) here. Because her body is MSD width but SD height, I mostly have to make her clothes - this dress is made from second-hand cotton men's shirt, worn to a lovely soft drape:

OMG SHE'S HERE. Jatzu has been fantastic and done everything! She has perfect little nails, toes, glowing skin, beautiful face. Anyway, she's not wearing anything she's meant to - these were the closest items to me at the time but she looks SO GOOD anyway! I'm so excited >.<

Thanks, it's a simple yoke style, made from an old shirt, but it has a belt too so can be worn with or without for a bit of variety.

@Luckyl and @Teddy Thank you! I took another pic of her today but this time with a darker wig from Kagami Designs and in DAYLIGHT! These are SD13 clothes from Nine9 Style and they fit her well The skirt is a bit small for her waist but the second button does up (if not the first).

She really is adorable and looks wonderful in both wigs. That is nice you found some clothes to fit her that suit her. She has such an innocent look that is so compelling. Are those 12 mm eyes she is wearing?

Has anybody done any comparison shots of the Komorebi body alongside other SD sized bodies?

I'm looking for Volks SD10 in particular but others might be helpful too.

@Teddy I have other SD girls I can compare her with but nothing ordinary - I have a 60cm SD girl from Darak-i, a short Zaoll Luv, a Lillycat Ellana... And until she's sent to her new owner a DC Snow Nymph. Do you want a comparison with any of those?? Don't know how close any of them are to an SD10 body?

Thank you so much - I think a comparison with the Darak-i body would give me an idea of what I'm after.

She's adorable - and I really like her in the lighter wig - I don't know if it's the colour, or the fact it has a fringe, or both, but it really looks good on her.

@kamia , she looks fantastic in that red wig! A bit like the main girl from Twelve Kingdoms.

Weird question, could any Olathe owners take a couple measurements of her head? Im trying to get a wig commissioned for her and I have no idea what specs to tell the artist...

@Cydril Oh my goodness! You are so correct!! I love her even more now with it :P I've still been trying a few on her - I've found for some reason the brighter colours look amazing! I will share more pics as evidence soon :P

Oh my gosh, I've been trying to stalk owner pictures of Fangs (and other sculpts) for a long while now. Why did I never think of checking DoA for a thread?

Anyway, of MDR's sculpts, I have a little Mousse, and a Strawberry Fang. I've named my Fang Hien, and have made unfortunately very little progress with her. I did try to hybrid her on a Supia body (the fit was great with nice head movement, but the resin match for the Strawberry skin was awful; perhaps Vanilla would be better?), but that didn't work out for me, so now I'm back to square one. After a long while and a lot of help--thanks @kamia !--I've decided on getting a komorebi body for her.. but now I've got to wait all the way until the next preorder sometime around September, unless by some miracle, one pops up on the marketplace. Such is the life of a BJD collector, hmm?

Till' then, might I say that everyone is doing wonderful things with their heads, and I can't wait to see more spam!

 

Hey, so I just got my goodbye sale Merry and I really wanted to post her here because I'm really excited.

I haven't even thought about face-ups yet (since I just got her today) but aaah she's so cute.



Also, if anyone wondered, the vanilla skin is a pretty good match to Mirodoll's normal skin. Their body's not as gorgeous as the Komorebi, but it's certainly cheap as BJD bodies go.

 

Yay for more Merrys! It's a shame they're discontinuing her.
