My cookie Fang came in yesterday. Oh my goodness I was so surprised by the resin color, it is so pretty and smooth! Also, she feels way heavier then my other SD girls :'D
...I just weighed her and she's 1.5 kg. Damn

 

@Bubblefox please share pics! Yes, these girls are super heavy - but they sort of feel reassuring

Also I have a dilemma - Ophelia looks stunning in Fang's wig by @Allstar xD

I was able to snag the blank Cookie Ophelia when they released this month! She's on layaway, but I'm sooo excited for her. She'll be my third MDR girl (Vanilla Olathe, Strawberry Mousse). It's actually the fourth MDR doll I've purchased, but the cookie Olathe decided to be sneaky and run away to live with my good friend @EleanorAnne So so happy for her arrival. For once I have absolutely *no* idea who she will be. Which is strange for me.

I was trying to find a photo of my Olathe, but I don't have too many as she's tied up in a film right now, so I'll just link to a fun self-portrait I accidentally got with the two of us on set.

I came across MDR by accident but, my my I'm in love already! I'll be saving up to adopt one for sure. Can't decide what scupt though. They are just all so lovely. I've scanned through the entire thread to look at every photo!

 

I'm so excited yall, I just sent my girl out for a faceup today! And I also got the news from Nuria that she finally finally finally has my replacement head, I can't wait.

 

@AllyCat Sure! The wig is by Amadiz Studio - I commissioned it so it would fit Ophelia perfectly

Who's your top contender to go home with you at the moment?

 

@kamia I'm thinking Ophelia or maybe Fang but definitely in the caramel skin because they look stunning with that colour. Plus I would like a little variation in skin/resin tones in my crew

 

Ah that's cool! Fang was limited in caramel (only 15 sold), I'm not sure about Ophelia in caramel... Does anyone else know about this? Would be cool if you could get a caramel girl, it's such a beautiful deep colour.

@AllyCat yeah, unfortunately as @kamia said only fang was ever sold in caramel skin. ophelia was released in cookie skin, but even more limited than fang as only two were available.
I know people that are holding out hope for a cookie skin ophelia preorder at some point though, so maybe if we're lucky that'll happen.


charlie finally has her permanent wig. after a trying out a few different things, I realize I should have just gone with my instincts and ordered this wig from the get go because it couldn't be any more her.
also her head is now off with an artist to be painted, I can't wait to see her all finished!

 

And what a fab wig it is!

I know that they are no longer available and that they were extremely limited but I am just going to follow what will happen and maybe there will be another chance

 

Just received notice that my Olathe's face-up is finished. She looks amazing! I can't wait to get her home and dress her up.

That artist is also doing my Olathe (with a very different look) so I am constantly stalking to see if she's done.

 

That's great @Cydril! She did one of my other dolls a few years ago and he still looks wonderful. I look forward to seeing a different take on this sculpt. Mine was done, in part, to resemble an Australian actress that Olathe reminded me of to begin with.
