1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

MiniFee Moe line V. Active line?

Jun 11, 2016

    1. Hey guys! So I'm not sure if this has already been asked...though I am sure it is? >_< but I am new to the hobby and I have been wondering about this for a while...
So I have a MiniFee, and I got her second hand and I am not at all fimiliar with the Fairyland brand or it's dolls. So I have no idea which body type she is?

I am planning on buying a new girly soon and I just want to make sure I know all the info/terminology

What is the difference between Moe and Active? is one larger than the other or is it assembled differently?

      Thank you guys!!!! :kitty2

    2. active line is taller, has 2 choice of legs and 3 choice of busts, and an extra joint at the hips.

Moe only have one type of legs, and two busts which are bigger (the smallest moe bust is the size of the A-line large), and the feet are magnetic and smaller, but they can be changed to regular size! Moe also has 3 magnets on the back for wings and a tail.

If you go on fairyland's site in the A La Carte section you can see pictures with all the options :)

    3. Jumping in with another question--

I've read that the M and A line chest parts (among others?) are interchangeable. Can I request a M-Line girl with a smaller bust, for example?

    4. Im not sure if Fairyland will swap parts (i.e. smaller bust); however they are interchangeable if you decide to purchase a separate bust by itself from marketplace. There are a lot of hybrids out and about.

The A line is a bit taller by a few centimeters, and as said before; different options. There is what some call a "diaper joint" at the hip on the A-line. That is the joint at the hip, but on a moe line they only have the torso joint--- no joints above the crotch area.

I enjoy my moe line--- I find even without the hip-joint--- they still pose amazingly well. The only complaint I have is that the Moe feet are very tiny and potentially even wear larger YOSD shoes. They are difficult to shop for. Nevertheless, being interchangeable is a quick fix. You can acquire the normal size that normally comes with the A-line easily.

    5. Since the renewal of the active line body, the bust parts are no longer interchangeable! Active line busts work with moe line, but the moe bust (I have D/glamour) is too narrow for the active line waist part.

    6. If you have a hip joint ist's A-Line. If not it's a M-Line. And beware- Moe have smaller feet!

    7. Make sure you don't accidentally buy an F-line bust if you decide to buy any off the marketplace - those don't swap onto the other sizes.
