Minifee Woosoo and Miyu :O

I'm so disappointed that they changed Miyu's eyes... they're nothing like her big version... they sanded down her bulgy lower lids, too bad!
I've written and asked that if they ever make an Elf Minifee Miyu, to please give her the same eyes as the big Miyu. She's just another cute dolly without them! :-(

She actually does have those baggy eyes, they are just harder to see because of her size. Miyu has been one of my favorite molds since her release, and I wouldn't have gotten the MNF version if she wasn't up to par. You can really see her resemblance to Miyu with a more "Angry" face-up, since that's what Miyu has so often been portrayed with. Example:

Hmmm interesting!! She looks so different in most photos, and I did wait to see owner pics. I couldn't find an unpainted pic of her on the site, it seems everyone is in the alacarte menu except Woosoo and Miyu? Strange because they already have the new ones in there. I must be missing something ^^;;
Well it'll be interesting to see what they tell me on the Q&A board, I'll post it here, in case there are any other Miyu bulgy eye devotees!

Fairyland said they wouldn't be releasing Miyu and Woosoo with the A-lines just yet. I'm assuming so that people will continue to buy dolls with the old body, or maybe just because they ARE so new. The A and B heads were designed specifically for the A La Carte system, which is why they're in there when Miyu and Woosoo are not.

Edit: Yes, a few people have asked about Miyu and Woosoo in the A La Carte system, and Fairyland gave a similar response to everyone. Quote for convenience:

The same reply was given for Miyu. The only difference I saw was in an earlier inquiry, where they said they were trying to update them for the A-line, but they weren't sure exactly when it would happen. The reply about updating makes me think maybe the Miyu and Woosoo heads don't work with the new bodies? I'm just not sure why that would be. I know people have suggested that Woosoo's head looked smaller than other Minifees, maybe that has something to do with it?

 

Ive emailed fairyland asking if Miyu's head would work on the new body should i choose to get her one at a later date and Feeple said that Miyu's head will work with the new body.

 

holy crap...

I just got my huge order in and there's a secret gift head. For those who ordered both Miyu and Woosoo there's a winking Miyu head O.O

Huh. Then maybe they just don't want to put em in yet. *Shrug* That was just a theory on my part. ^^ Thanks for the definite though.
