    2. Dropping off another batch of glowing feedback for MoC~

      What did you order?

      DFH twins ZhiYan (YS, mine) and RongXuan (PS, mom's) as fullsets during the DFH event. We also chose PS 1/3 jointed hands for females.

      When did you order?

      Sometime in late October (around my birthday, the 21st) on a five month layaway.

      How was the communication?
      Fantastic as always. We didn't have any questions during the wait time, but before we ordered, we asked what skin tone the dolls were in the promo pictures. Everything was always prompt and easy to understand. n_n

      How easy was it to pay?
      Very easy using a credit card.

      How long did it take to ship?
      The twins shipped on the 3rd, I believe, and arrived yesterday, the 7th!

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Oh absolutely. We got a smokin' deal on the twins (for the price of a basic doll, we got them as fullsets and saved TONS). The quality of the clothing is phenomenal. So many little pieces and everything is weighty, well-sewn and intricate. The choker for my ZhiYan is slightly too short for her to wear (it won't fit around her neck), but that can easily be fixed.

      My girl's wig is very thin on the top and I can see the wig cap in certain areas, but she's the first doll I've ever had with very light hair, so I don't know if it's the wig or simply the hair color that causes it to look thinner. (I have a black, gray and medium blonde-haired dolls to compare to). Overall, the quality is superb, especially for the prices we got them at.

      MoC informed us that DFH forgot to include faceups with our fullset dolls and contacted the company and we got free blank heads (with free extra eyes!) to compensate! We let MoC know how fantastic they and DFH are. Both companies will continue to receive my business. <3

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Yes indeed! The dolls' skin tones are MUCH more dramatic in person, though. My ZhiYan looks like she has jaundice when she's placed next to anything purple and RongXuan looks like strawberry NesQuik at times, but in their clothing they look great. I think the skin tones are just very... vivid, so it's something to keep in mind. We had no idea but we love them so much that it doesn't even matter.

      See above, about the faceup thing.

      I still stand by the idea that if I can't get it at MoC, then I don't need it. XD MoC is hands-down the single best company I've dealt with in this hobby. I adore them.

      mostly yes, the doll itselfs is just perfect but iยดm not happy with his face up. the colours look more rich in sales pics then it does in real-life. it does not include the black stars on his forehead and it looks like they used watercolour pencils instead of acrylics which i never saw before on a company face up! No big deal anyway, iยดll just send him off to an face up artist!

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? I was very impressed with both (though a little upset that Orion came with the exact same outfit as in the picture, despite the fact it listed the clothes as random. However, this is probably normal, and he was my very first BJD.).

      Just arrived today; took 6 days. ^^ Shipping wasn't even expensive! (Because I ordered overseas the same day another website with shipping $22 and it only came one day before MoC got my order to me PFFSH . . . )

      Definitely. ^^ The items are really affordable too and the quality doesn't suffice because of it. ^^ And shipping being cheap helps. ^^ ;;;;; I am in love with this laptop and one of these shoes I bought for my boy.

    9. What did you order? 5Star Doll Tong Tong (girl) with faceup, a pair of 14 mm glass eyes, and a 6/7 size purple wig. All of these were "in stock".

      When did you order? February 29th: the same afternoon that MoC had reopened up their shop from their business trip to China.

      How was the communication? Whenever I had a question (even over a year ago), I always received a prompt and polite response. Mint on Card is excellent with their communication, and I've always felt comfortable writing to them, as they are very personable and friendly. :)

      How easy was it to pay? Very easily on my credit card. I actually prefer to pay on my credit card, as I get text alerts whenever it's charged, so I feel safer that way.

      How long did it take to ship?
      2 1/2 days! Amazing!

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Absolutely! The glass eyes are stunning, and the wig is very nice. (It came on a little Styrofoam doll head, which I now use as a model for hats.) My doll's body arrived in perfect condition.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Even better! I love the copious amounts of pictures that MoC puts on their site for the dolls. I like being able to look at the dolly from every angle.

      Were you satisfied with the product?
      In every way, except for one issue, which was a minor one. My dolls head arrived wrapped up securely in a face protector...however, I could see she had a very tiny scratch in her faceup underneath the chin. It's so minor that it's hard to photograph (darn near impossible except when you're focused right on it), so I had no intention of getting it fixed or redone. I felt comfortable in knowing that if I did send it back, MoC would take care of the issue. The rest of my dolls faceup is so gorgeous, I just couldn't bear to wipe it clean or tamper with it!

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      I sent a brief email to MoC with an attached picture of the faceup scratch, and explained that I only wanted to inform them of the issue. I had no reason to send her back because of it, and I have no plans to redo the faceup at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Mint on Card gave me a $10 store credit to my account! It means a lot to me that they would do that, since it wasn't an issue. I really appreciate that! :)

      Mint on Card always has EXCELLENT communication, and fast shipping. Everything was packaged very well, and they even included some free delicious candy! I loved the tracking information they provided for my shipping, as it was very easy to see where my package was. (Believe me, I was glued to the computer!) MoC is definitely my first stop when it comes to dolly stuff. I definitely plan on ordering from them again, and I recommend their site to all my fellow dolly lovers.       * How was the communication? Pretty good. I was notified each month when it was time for payment, and then when AE delayed the order, and when it shipped to them and again when they shipped to me. :)

      * How easy was it to pay? Easy peasy!

      * How long did it take to ship? 7 months from the time I ordered (5 days after they received the huge order batch and it took 3 days to reach me).

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes. AE did an amazing job on the mermaid, and the resin was so smooth! The small laptop could be cheaper, but overall I'm super happy with the purchase.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Pretty close! The face-up was a teeny bit different, but I think AE changed it slightly to match the color of the tail I ordered (Crystal's default was Golden Orange, I asked for Light Aqua). She's gorgeous!

      *Were you satisfied with the product? VERY MUCH!!! If I can get the funds, I'm definitely ordering another mermaid through MOC.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? Here I will say, that MoC's customer services is only rivaled by one other US dealer that I do a lot of business with. The order for the doll was processed 2/3. He arrived 3 weeks later than expected from A-S and he didn't have a face-up as ordered! We had to wait another 2 months for the face-up head to arrive, and while we were frustrated, MoC was gracious and understanding throughout. They offered us a full refund which we declined, then continued to keep us informed of the status as we waited. When the new head arrived, they put it on the body and shipped him out so that he arrived in 3 days!

      How long did it take to ship? After paying it off it was shipped immediately and I it arrived in the Philippines in 6 days. Very fast considering I'm halfway around the world.
      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Of course it was, I just had a small misunderstanding with the wig that looked like a cat slept on it but that is from Dollzone's end - apparently they ship it out like this.
      Did the item look like the sales pictures? 90%, the wig is my problem and the neck strap which is too big. Again a Dollzone issue!
      Were you satisfied with the product? Super other than the wig Dollzone Hid is my dream doll and I love him to bits.
