1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Momocolor Tiny discussion part 2

Jul 23, 2013

    1. She's beautiful!

    2. They had some others released now and then (from L), perhaps they are rotating what was most popular thus far, and they're rotating them really slowly DX

    3. she's wonderful!

    4. I finally had a reply to one of my messages (I emailed and contacted them via FB) and basically it was the same message someone else had (sorry, I couldn't find the message to check who it was) saying that my Sophie was with the face-up artist and they would let me know when she was being shipped. It seems to take a long time, especially since she was a limited version of ten. I naively thought that they would be a bit more organised and make the 10 in one go but I guess not.

    5. I wonder what face-up artist they work with...

    6. I would have thought the same thing, but I am pretty new to all things BJD, so I wouldn't know and this is my first time ordering a new doll from a company.
I am happy that you finally did get a response, though it is very much like the one they sent me on Friday. I had posted their response here, but somehow that message along with everyone's on Friday afternoon went missing. Weird!
I am keeping my fingers crossed that we hear some "happy news" soon.

    7. Queenbee, the forum was hacked on Friday and they had to go back to an earlier saved version so that might be why your message went. I wondered why I couldn't find it! I think it's just a stock reply sent with the aim of keeping me quiet but I do hope that it means she'll be on her way soon.

    8. Momocolor is a really really teeny company. (Which isn't a bad thing, for me it's been sort of an exciting thing! ) When I've chatted with them on FB (when I'm up all night) it seems like they're maybe 2 or 3 people. A sculptor, someone who does the face ups, and maybe someone else who does shipping and customer contact. This isn't something I've discussed with them, just a sort of impression based on things said when they're talking about what they're working on.

They've pretty quickly gone from a tiny site with only two models of dolls, and no one knowing who they are, to having this thread on DoA... and several people posting photos of Momocolor dolls on Flickr, and facebook...

    9. According to the track Olga's head was delivered on the 7th, I have written two email to confirm it and I do not answer..
I had thought about buying a Lucy, but I do not because I see irresponsible.

    10. I got this email the 24th september

Still have no shipping notice or more replies. Now Im a bit worried as they have been very fast in replying before. I just want my girls home!

    11. I'm sad that their current line of girls will be discontinued. I really adore a great many of them and I'd love to get Olga but I don't really need to get her. I'm pretty happy with the two girls I already have. I hope they won't close up and will continue making their dolls. They have such beautiful dolls and I love the bodies they have. I would hate to see Momocolor disappear.

I got my girls some toys and Melody decided she wasn't going to share with her sister. She's a brat.

    12. I don't believe I will ever see my Olga...

    13. Dont say that sweet - we need to keep up hope!

    14. I'm sure you will. *hugs* It's really hard to keep up hope sometimes, but I'm sure it'll all work out. :)

It's weird how bad Momocolor is doing right now though - letting their customers down, not keeping up with communications.

    15. Stokiaci, Melody is quite adorable. My girls love their Mini Lalas too.
Luria, Hopefully the message they sent Chinabun saying that the previous week was a holiday is the reason for the delay in getting back to you. But another week has past, and no more communication. I think many of us are worried about the status of our dolls and their lack of communication only fuels that worry.
Thank you for letting me know about the forum being hacked. I agree that it does seem like the "stock" answer to all inquiries "We will ship out next week". But next week never comes and neither does a message from them letting the customer know that there will be a delay in shipping.

It's so discouraging. But I am trying very hard to believe that we will all be receiving our girls soon.

Chinabun, I think it all goes back to them being overwhelmed with orders, there were probably some delays of some sort, and their lack of communication with the customers that is feeding all this worry. I really hope all this gets sorted out soon and all our girls come home.

    16. I sent another email today asking for open communication and got another reply very promptly!
I did say I was disappointed in the new 20% offer with the discontinuing most of the line...

      Well, here is the reply:

Im very glad I had a reply and I do hope soon does not mean another few weeks...

    17. I can perfectly live with long waits, really. As long as communication is good and I don't get promises about ahipping times that get broken again and again...

    18. I so want to order Olga before they discontinue her, but with all of you posting about bad/ no communication and the "will ship next week" excuse and then they don't, I'm kind of in two minds whether to risk it. Can any one that is still waiting for their doll let me know how long you've been waiting. thanks all

    19. I agree. If there is no communication then I start to get worried. I'm used to long waits but I admit that part of my reason for ordering was because they appeared to be quicker than most. Waiting for so many dolls is making me very antsy! I'm hoping my order will be here by end of October.

    20. today have not answered my email, do not know if they will head Olga arrived safely, but to write on facebook if you have time
