1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Momocolor Tiny discussion part 2

Jul 23, 2013

    1. So happy for those who have received their dolls! And glad they seem to still be sending them out even if it's really slow with no communication. And they're selling new dolls so that means the older orders have to go out at some time, right? Right?? :sweat

    2. Quick Lucy spam!

    3. Your Lucy looks so nice in her aqua wig.. :aheartbea

    4. guls207, your Lucy is adorable! I love that hat. Her dress is charming, too.

I just hot-glue sueded my Lucy's head/neck joint and hip joints last night. The neck sueding did wonders, and now she doesn't have the head-snapping-to-the-side problem. The hip sueding seems to help keep her legs from twisting around, too. Has anyone else sueded their Momocolor dolls?

    5. guls207 - She's just so adorable. I love they wig!

elaby - Both of my girls are hot glue sueded. It really improves their posing. My girl's legs don't twist around at all.

    6. Hello! I have just recently started making payments on a Tan Lucy and I can not wait for her to come home >.< She is so adorable! When she arrives I will post pictures :)

    7. Hi! I just ordered a Momocolor Doll from the company, and now have a feeling I will be in for quite a wait. ^^; I do have a question for Momocolor doll owners! Does anyone know how well the 26cm body fits in Dollheart yo-sd clothes? Do they fit typical Yo-SD clothes or need something special to wear?

    8. They fit typical YOSD clothes pretty well, one of my girls wears a Littlefee fullset outfit which is great and one even wears a dress that was originally bought for a Pullip :)

    9. Yes, they fit a normal YOSD :)

I hope that you guys dont have ti wait as long as we have - they are gorgeous well mase dolls after all ;)

    10. Thank you Chinabun and Lil Spark! I am hoping the wait will not be somewhat insane, but I sadly am expecting it. Ordering during Christmas and during a free head events is usually something a masochist does. XD

But is it terribly hard to hot glue suede them? Sorry if I am asking so many questions!

    11. Not really, I find it easier than regular sueding. I took my girls apart upon arrival to clean out the resin dust (so much dust!!) and restring them and since they were apart I went ahead and sueded them. I used an orange stick to spread the glue as flat and evenly as possible.

    12. She is so cute , I love tan skin dolls , I'll get one for sure if I keep seeing nice pictures of beautiful ones like yours ^_^

    13. Guls looks amazing in her teal wig!
its good to know about the glue sueding - my girl is all over the place at the ment which is pretty frustrating!

    14. she's so cute I love that wig on her makes me wonder what Momo would look like in a blueish wig hmmm. Anyways about suedeing one of the first things I do with a new doll is attack it with my glue gun and some wire she poses like a dream now although when I got her she was unbelievably tight it was hard to unstring her since you couldn't pull the string out far enough :(

    15. I had a really easy time sueding my Lucy :) I took her head off to spread a line of hot glue in her head socket (not sure if that's the right term for it XD) and I didn't even unstring her to suede her hip sockets. I just pulled her leg out a little bit and held it to the side while I spread the hot glue. I used my finger, but a stick would probably work even better! As an aside, I would suggest a complete ring of glue around the inside of her leg sockets - I put two strips (non-continuous) and the x-shaped slots in her leg tend to catch on them and peel the glue up.

    16. Hi all! I was wondering...does anyone have a Natural Skin Fairyland doll and a Normal skin Momocolor doll? I would like to know how the resin colors match up...are they pretty close?

    17. Thank you Lil Spark! I didn't even think to search on flickr... :S Lol!

    18. Can anyone give me the exact circumference for a Momocolor Michelle head?

    19. How about som Sophie spam to hold me over until she arrives?
