Just so everyone knows, I adjusted the Momocolor feedback thread to include Momotree as well, in case anyone was unsure and still wanted to leave a review.
My Windy and the Cory head arrived today and they are just beautiful! I ordered on July 19th! So it just over two weeks! Their order volume may be low because of the previous problems with Momocolor. I am preparing to have new rugs installed tomorrow, so I can't take pictures for a couple of days. Sorry! I would really like to share them!
Seeing the new red and black queen dolls makes me want to order another, but I unfortunately fall into the group who had issues with Momocolor before the name change. I'd like to know what their plans are for improving communication and resolving production issues going forward as Momotree before I order again. All business problems aside, they do have adorable product.
The new girls are really stunning! Still I won't order... I hate that they don't offer white skin anymore, all my 4 Momo girls are already tan and I don't collect normal skin dolls... Plus I want to see more positive feedback before ordering from them ever again...
I just got a Momocolor/Momotree Tasha from the marketplace and I adore her! I had no idea her little hands and feet were going to be so detailed. I mean seriously, I have never had an urge to paint my girls fingernails or toenails, but I want to paint hers because they are just so beautiful. The only thing I'm not too fond of right now is the fact that her joints are a lot different than what I'm used to. She's an extremely steady poser and everything, but I have never seen leg joints like hers before so I'm a little confused about them and she kind of doesn't fit in leg wise. Granted, it also shows the difference between her and the others so I guess that's good too. Either way, I want more tan girls now! She's just so beautiful
I just received a Tasha today, and it seems like she doesn't want to wear a size 6-7 wig. Size 7-8 (MSD) seems to fit better. What have you guys found?
Yes, you're right. I just took my wig off my Minifee and compared their heads. They appear similar in size.
My Bonnie is wearing a 6-7 ForMyDoll wig, and it fits, but I have to tug it on really well and make sure it's not sitting too far back or it just pings off. I definitely wouldn't want it any smaller.
So before I go and click "buy" are clothes marketed for LittleFee/YOSD-sized dolls suitable for Momo29s? (I do realise that skirts may come up shorter, but the outfit I'm looking at is a sleeveless shirt and shorts.) Thanks.
Do any of you guys know how close the iplehouse light brown and momocolor tan is? I want to make a hybrid of the momocolor 29 body and an iplehouse bid body.
In my experience on Etsy, yes, LittleFee/YOSD clothes fit the 29 cm Momocolor dolls The shortness of the sleeves/pant legs and skirts is the only thing to think about, so I bet you'll be fine with a sleeveless shirt and shorts. Some of the pants I've gotten have a little bit of a low rise (since I think the Momocolor body has slight larger hips/backside than LittleFees do) but they always fit well enough for me.
