With their current event/order period of Bonita, it says it ends feb 15th. Does that mean they will stop making the Bonita sculpt forever once it ends or just until next Christmas?
Since she is listed as a limited edition, she may only be available during the order period. I would ask on the Q&A board. Different companies have different policies with limited editions and Momotree took over Momocolor less than a year ago.
Ah man, Momotree's site says the Winter Event Chavi head is sold out before the event has ended... :P
The Chavi head has always been "sold out" because you can't order it. You will get it automatically if you order a doll, .
nancy_schroeder_ca . Ah thank you I must have forgot about it being their before when I checked in December. I guess the bright red of the sold out sign scarred me a little :P
I've posted a question on momotrees Q&A, their facebook and also sent an email about mid jan and still haven't heard from them. Do they usually take this long to answer back? I know Chinese New Year starts soon and some company's stop or slow down but since they have an event ending soon I thought they would be around. Particularly since my question is about the current event so I need to know before it ends which is soon...
Well It seems like they've disappeared or something since I still haven't heard back from them and their event ends today :/ I guess I'll just hope to find her 2nd hand on the market place. I heard another customer is having problems with them with no contact and still no doll that she ordered last year. I hope they are not going to be having the same problem they did before...
>.< Momocolor / Momotree y u no learn?! Their dolls are so pretty and I'm happy with the three sculpts I have, but I feel blessed I got the first two before the trouble started and that I DID receive the last one after the agonizing wait without proper communication. I was really hoping they would turn their act around and start behaving professionally again, but sadly no... I would have considered buying parts, but this hassle isn't going to be worth it.
Yeah :/ I really did love that Bonita sculpt but I dont think it can risk paying then not hearing back from them. I'd rather take my chance to wait and get her 2nd hand. It is a shame since they do have very cute dolls. Its really not good for a company to have things up for sale and events running but then have little or no customer contact happening.
These are small companies and even the temporary loss of one person can cause some problems. I do hope everyone is all right and they get everything back up and running soon. On a cautionary note, Paypal now accepts claims for 180 days. If you are approaching that limit, I would file a claim with Paypal.
True Nancy, but imho they should stop accepting orders to get things back on track and communicate with the people who already have placed orders or refund them if they haven't start production yet. Acting like this, will only keep customers away, out of fear of taking the money, then disappearing completely. This has happened in the past with other (small) companies and nobody likes to be conned out several $$$.
I don't think any of these companies intends to con people, but illness or accidents can quickly take out the key person in a small compny. Yoon was active on their web site and on facebook until about Jan 10th. Something sudden must have happened. Now it's New year's holidays in Asia, so I will wait until mid March to see what happens.
