nancy_schroeder_ca Glad to hear you were able to file anything so you could get all your money back. It's really frustrating, and you're right. With these small companies one incident can shut everything down. Hopefully she's okay. Really sad to hear that the troubles continue.
Just so you know, I heard from Momotree via facebook on February 15th. But that's the last I heard from them.
I don't have the 29cm (yet!), but had to pop in to warn you against ordering from Momocolor/Momotree. Their site hasn't been updated since about January, and they haven't responded to any of their customers- even those that have paid! And this isn't new behavior unfortunately. There's tons further back in this thread, and in their feedback thread: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/s...motree-Momocolor-Feedback?highlight=momocolor (And in their waiting room, if it hasn't been erased.) Maybe one day they'll come back, but even if they do, I'd be extremely cautious about ordering from them. Sorry.
Do not attempt to order from Momotree. I had to do a charge back on my order for Allie so I am sure Bonita was never produced. The old 29cm Momocolor body is very nice but you will have to look on the secondary market.
I like that wig and her clothes are so cute Bagirka. My Michelle got some photo time too, after some long waiting: Serenity Now by Shirley Girly, on Flickr
I have just bought a tan Bonnie 29cm from the Marketplace...now starting to wonder what on earth they wear....any pointers gratefully received. Also, any spam of Bonnie, bonus points for tan
They can wear yosd size clothes but I believe it is their legs that are a bit longer so everything is just a bit shorter on them
I bought a Lucy too! Both of my girls have arrived. I will be back with pictures! Luckily I have a lot of Littlefee clothes of different types, so have several things that will fit, apart from leggings, jeans and tights...anyone know what would do the job? IMG_6410 by Jules, on Flickr
Just a heads-up, went to see if anything at all was happening on the website, and it is closed. So,it looks like there will be no more! However, since I only got my 2 girls recently, I still want to share some Momo-love if that's OK?
That doesn't surprise me as there has been no activity from them since January and I'm sure there are still people who never received their dolls. But yes keep sharing as there are some of us still here with Momo dolls Halloween Mackenzie by Sarah, on Flickr
Sad that they weren't able to pull themselves out of their tailspin, it reminds me too much of CustomHouse and their demise. They really did make nice dolls, even at the end according to their company feedback thread (not the case with CH). I just picked up a secondhand body for my Lucy head on the Marketplace, but it desperately needs restringing. Once I get her put back together, I'll spam her here.
I have four Momocolor dolls I bought on the secondary market and three Momotree dolls I bought from them after they took over the company. I love my girls but I am way behind on pictures!
Great! Let me know how the restring goes. I am going to have to do one of mine (my first restring). I think their tan is lovely, and the resin has a really nice feel. Once you get them standing they are nice and solid, too. Anyone know where I can buy kips?
