Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. I'll steal the SD16 coat for Sai if it fits him. Muahah.

      For some reason, I'm really stuck on what to think of his arms. Going by these pictures, the elbows look weird. They remind me of my initial impression of the Bermann elbows. Not bad but.....eh....they just look funny!

      I'll need to see more pictures, for certain. So far, the rock that I'm sticking to that declares 'no SD16 until they are Full Choice' is holding pretty steady.

      A bit off the subject, I'm curious on the bets as to when SD16 will go FCS...

    3. Guh? How are they planning on patenting that? Unless there are some radically new features to his joints that I can't see from the pictures, it all looks like things that have been done before on other BJDs and art dolls, just with a more visually appealing sculpt. I'm confused. :confused:

    4. Oh I definitely will. :D I've wanted a Hewitt since back when the 1st edition came out...he's my favorite of all mini type dolls. I'm so happy they are rereleasing him!

    6. Anne is SO cute, I will definitely be getting her! I've been wanting a cute little Yo-SD girl to carry around with me. :D And I want to get Hewitt too, he is such a sweet looking little boy and I've been trying to get a mini boy for ages.

      Yukinojo's joints are amazing . . . and its nice that he's not too huge. His face isn't to my taste, but my sister's getting him so I'll get to play with him and take lots of pics. :)

      (and yes, we have been saving up for months and selling stuff like mad! LOL)

      I'm so glad they're all made with that special UV protect resin too! I was wondering about that.

    7. I haven't had the chance to truly study a Super Dollfie Cute, so tell me if these observations are found in them, too:

      Instead of just being an oval floating joint, the part that connects with the upper arm looks like a ball and socket joint that can rotate, while the bottom is a hinge joint.
      The connection between the hand and the wrist joint seems to be flat.

      Oddly the english site has more photos up on the wigs, AND the outfits. But the Japanese site has the outfits and accessories shown ON the dolls.

    11. Yay! SD16s will fit with SD13s! I really thought he was going to be as tall as hounds and tower over all other Volks dolls... So he's only 1cm taller than DOTs...

      I love that full pic of him with the trench coat, so smexy! XD

    15. SDCute arms don't have a funky stick-out elbow hinge ridge ("joint sheet"?) like this SD16 body does. I personally am not a huge fan of stick-out sheet ridges (Yo-SD have them on their knees too, and some types of non-Volks dolls have them), they seem like they could get more easily chipped.

      Too bad those KIPS photos don't show the knees or legs, or their movement range. I'd love to know if they can do all that SDC Arashi can (kneeling, lotus position, "swarrico"), even if they still may not be able to do side splits like CP.

      Does anyone know if Volks is planning on changing the design of their SDs and SD13s to this system as well? Perhaps it is more flexible (they need to show some photos of that, because these ones DON'T show it), but the design doesn't seem as ...refined. I'm not sure what "trouble with posing" they might be referring to on non-"KIPS" bodies, either... maybe less flexibility?

      Yukinojo does look Russian, heh... but I am now itching to take sandpaper to the bottom of his lower lip and make it a bit less large.

    16. Did anyone else notice that it says he's wearing Heath's wig? I think that means there's a very good chance that his head is interchangeable with SD13 boys. Now, as to how other heads will look on the body, I suppose we'll have to wait and see, but I'd say more mature looking heads like Heath, Isao, Tohya, and probably Tsukasa will look just fine on it. The only thing I see is that perhaps the neck/neckhole might have to be sanded a little?

I thinks that he isn't wearing Heath's wig, if you see the information in japanese yo will see that says "&#26937;&#26408;&#12288;&#38634;&#20043;&#19998;" (Yukinojo Sawaragi) and not "&#12498;&#12540;&#12473;" what means Heath, well i need Cassiel's help, Cassiel knows japanese right??

    19. It doesn't really look like Heath's wig. It was more unruly at the back and didn't have extensions.

      Meanwhile, I looked at the KIPS pics again and noticed how built Yukinojo is:
