My absolute favorite company is Doll Chateau. The strange aesthetic to all their dolls is so completely alluring that I desperately want (read as need) one. Within the company, Alberta and Ada are the ones I am most enchanted by.

 

My absolute favorite ones are DollsTown 18yrs, both girl and boy. Even though I have only girls in my doll family, I seriously think about getting their boy.
The second one that I find myself strangely attracted to is new Doll Chateau Youth and Kid girl bodies with their extra joints and wiggly toes!..

 

I don't own a doll chataeu doll (yet), but am always captivated by their bodies, at least in pictures. And the Dollstown 18yrs girl body looks amazing. I am tossing up between that or the 13yrs for my Amy. I definitely prefer the 18yrs but already have the perfect outfit that would only fit the 13yrs...

 

I love my withdoll girl, the detailing of her sculpt is just right, not too much, not too little. She posed very well, and my only regret is that she has only single joints in the legs, however she poses quite well despite of that.

 

For guys, hands down Spiritdoll Herculean and Soom Idealian, both for breathtaking detail and fabulous posing. As for the girls, I'm really liking Angelsdoll massive body, they're the only company I've seen with such realistic yet still very feminine proportion for a wide body and a very small chest, it's like looking at a naked asian woman! And though I've never handled one, Dollshe's first girl and new muscular guy....ugh! Gorgeous.

 

For me, the most beautiful and poseable is the Volks SD Graffiti girl body. I finally got one and I love it to death. It's gorgeous to stare at (as I have been doing quite regularly) and it poses in the most human-like positions I've seen a doll body pose in. I would have a thousand of these bodies if I could afford it.

 

I've discovered over the years that I actually put a lot of weight on the body when making my doll choices. A body that is off aesthetically to me, can completely knock a doll out of my favor.
My top 4 choices from dolls that I own are:

1. Switch's Humming Dolly 57 Girl body with the B-cup torso
The jointed ankles are incredibly graceful, and the sculpting of the hands is delicate and feminine. There is also a thickness to it, in the arms for instance, that I find very pleasant.
Poses well enough, though the ankles are unstable.

2. Volks' SD16 Girl body
I really like the stylization choices Volks made with this body: the graceful, elongated legs, the width of the shoulders (I really like the old, squared ones), the petite waist. It just evokes the vintage fashion shape of the '40s and '50s. It's also wonderfully slouchy and remarkably stable. The elbows aren't great to pose.

3. Iplehouse's EID Superhero male body
Once again, I love the thickness of this body, and the shorter neck. I also appreciate the soft definition of the muscles on the abdomen (say, in comparison to the model body). It just looks heavy and masculine, and boy does it fill out a suit!
It is heavy and that effects the posing, but I got used that very quickly, so it doesn't bother me too much. I actually like the old EID elbows better than the new SID-styled ones…but that's probably just me.

4. Alice In Labyrinth's MSD body
Such a cute and childlike body! The athletic legs and baby fat on the tummy all really evoke childhood. It just looks solid and active. It makes me think of running outside, playing tag.
The true ball joints of this body cause it want to curl up left to it's own devices, but I'm willing to fuss with it just because I like the sculpting so much. It's not a great poser.

 

Iplehouse, very realistic proportions and healthy looking, athletic. Not very skinny.

 

Bobobie female msd bodies are amazing, and I love how willowy and graceful the Resinsoul female msd bodies are. For sd I think Supia and Iplehouse have the most beautiful looking bodies!

 

I love special bodies and I love curves. I've got a DollZone B45-010 body and I looove it! I love the artbody from Leekeworld. I'm very fuzzy when it comes to bodies. I need to like the body, otherwise I won't buy the doll. If i love a head but hates the body I'll have to make a hybrid out of it. I also love Nobledolls bodies and Cerisedolls bodies. Just everything that's special really.

 

Oh god, So many... For me there's Doll Chateau, Granado, DOD, Iplehouse.

 

My favorite body so far is Granado. I have one doll from them, the first doll I ever got, and she has the female nuevo body. It poses very nicely and it looks gorgeous. The whole body is very detailed and you can just tell that they put in a lot of time into it. The resin is extremely smooth, sanded, and it has a very nice weight to it. She's not super heavy but she's most definitely not light in her weight, either. I can't say enough good things about it

 

I have a few different brands, but I think as far as bodies go, my favorite of them is my MiniFee A-Line boy. I'm still having trouble getting him standing, but for posing and overall aesthetics, no one else in my collection can beat him, he's just gorgeous!

 

I've always thought the Dollstown bodies were amazing. I don't own any but the photos are stunning. I love my Doll Chateau boy. He's definitely the most unique looking boy doll I have.

 

I think Beyours and Dreaming Doll have one of the most beautiful female bodies - DDoll in SD and MSD size.
I also like the old double jointed girl body from Souldoll (MSD) a lot in that regards.

As for males:
Island Doll & Loongsoul and Withdoll. Those are my current favourites. But I do enjoy Granado as well.

 

Limwha girls are my very favorite. Even though they aren't the best posers, the sheer beauty of the body takes my breath away. They're so graceful & sculptural that it's a shame to even dress them. (Though I do.) They are so realistic yet idealistic.

Coming in a close second are the Souldoll bodies, nice weight, good posers, wonderfully realistic. The guys are hunky but not overly so & the girls are, well, hot! The resin seems pretty stable in color as well.

The old Unidolls UH series were also very nice but they tend to yellow terribly. The Unireal line didn't have that problem. I hated to see them go.

 

For bodies I would have to say Iplehouse. I'm amazed buy how detailed and realistic they look. They're done very beautifully, too. I see little details I never find in other bodies. Just amazing.

 

Nowadays if a doll doesn't have a nice body it doesn't stay with me very long.

My favourites so far have been...

Limhwa 57cm
It's absolutely awful to pose but beautifully sculpted. I think this is the most beautiful doll body I've owned. It has such nice proportions and details and is altogether very feminine and delicate. I love it. The beauty of it makes up for the lack of posing ability

Zaoll
As nice to look at as Limhwa with the added bonus of being reasonably sturdy. I love this body because it's so petite and delicate and cute.

Iplehouse
Beautifully curvy and feminine. Great posers. Realistic detailing. These are very beautiful bodies and very natural looking.

Supia
I really don't like the new double jointed body, but the old Supia body and the Minisup bodies are lovely.
