  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Because "opinions" can still be hurtful.

      You can say "it's just my opinion" all you want, but if you say "oh, X doll is totally overrated and doesn't deserve all the attention it gets", then you're going to hurt the feelings of the people who own and love that doll. This is a case where "opinions" are best kept to oneself. It's one thing to say "man, I wish X doll got more love" because the discussions that sort of thing has spawned lead a lot of people to discovering little-known molds they might not have otherwise stumbled over. It is a whole different ball of wax to say a doll doesn't deserve the attention it gets. That's unnecessarily derogatory and judgmental.

      Leave the popularity contest business to Tumblr. We don't need it here.

    2. I have 4 incarnations of Chloe and a feeple60 ordered...I love her sculpt, but then she fits with me...my feeple65 chloe I agree is underatted...I do not see
      many of her around, but I love mine all the same....if it makes me boring then so be it, but its MY money MY choice and everyone has the right to buy what they like.....2 underatted dolls for me would be Asleep Eidolon Col, I just dont know why she doesnt appear very much...I have her and she is a stunning doll...the other for me is a Supia haeun, I have this one too but dont find her in collections for many people. I won't go into dolls that I think are overatted, but there are quite a number out there...everyone is different, everyone has different tastes with sculpts and companies...

    3. I agree that you can't call a doll overrated, people choose the way the do for a reason, it's not really up to anyone else to say that that particular doll isn't worth the attention. There are a couple of very popular sculpts that do nothing for me, but what do I care what other people spend their money on? I buy what I like and you buy what you like.

      A doll that I find really lovely that I don't see much of would be RS Ju, I just love her head sculpt. I just wish I could get on with the RS body. A company that I think deserves more attention is Aquarius Doll, I have one of their 16 cm tinies, and in some aspects I prefer her to my PKFs. She poses better, cost less, her skin color is nicer and as a plus AQ have tan readily available for no extra cost. Take note Fairyland! The sculpts are a bit more stylized, but if you like that look, the only aspect where AQ can't compete with FL is the faceups, they are pretty basic.

    4. I see, maybe it's just a matter of nature... i wouldn't be hurt by an opinion like this but it's just me. I understand other people could get hurt instead!
      Being this way, I didn't imagine others could react in such an opposite way... maybe i've been insensitive, but it wasn't my intention, really! :(
