1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Movie Character you would like to have as a bjd?

Dec 24, 2014

    1. I want Tomas Sharp from Crimson Peak
And Heath Ledger from Candy :love

    2. Jason Momoa from Game of Thrones even though he wouldn't fit in with my other boys at all. But he's just so handsome omg.
Daenerys maybe, and definitely Alan Rickman, preferably as Snape : P

    3. Lots of them - although to be fair I don't want a character doll (s). I intend to create COSPLAY outfits of lots of TV/film characters for my dolls (already done some). I DO have some sculpts that are basically MnMs of real actors (mainly SK ones) but my characters aren't those actors - just people from my little fictional Georgia town who LOOK like said celebrities LOL
Right now I am looking hard for a Kim JaeJoong look-alike scupt & a Kim Hyun Joong one. AND I really really want IH Leonard cause, you know, Kili - or just Aiden Turner. :D

    4. I do not really think I would have a doll like a real person or a character designed by other people but... it would be curious to have a Channing Tatum doll from Magic Mike <3 I have a huge crush with him, he is the hottest actor for me atm.

    5. As I save right now for my next doll, I'm bouncing back and forth between whether I'll be shelling a beloved OC... or a favorite movie character. It's a pretty tough competition, but I figure I'll sort it out by the time I have the money, haha.

The movie characters, though... Eventually I want:
-Newt and Hermann (and probably Mako) from Pacific Rim
-Marty McFly (I do not hold out a huge amount of hope for ever finding a doll who'd pull off 'Doc' well while being properly in scale with the one I have pegged for Marty, but oh well)

And if I ever do Marvel characters, they'd be based on a mix of comic and MCU influences, but I would go for Steve, Tony, and Natasha, most likely (and would probably go heavily based on MCU for her, I like her film looks). But that one is more of an 'if I had unlimited money/display-and-storage-space pipe dream.

    6. A doll articulate enough to do Spider-Man......doesn't even need a face since he'd always be masked. Though that's a far off idea for me, my list is already much longer than my paycheck. I would like to see a t sweezy doll though. I think she'd make a good doll, has that been done before?

    7. Winona Ryder from the fourth movie of Aliens ( Alien: Resurrection ) has the most adorable face. I love the shape of her eyes and the look she had at that age. I confess I looked around for a doll for a time and am keeping an eye out.

    8. This was far too hard of a choice! Gary Oldman as young Dracula in the Bram Stoker's version came to mind, but so did Prince Adam from Beauty and the beast. Though, hands down, if I had to choose and anime character, I'd choose Alois from Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler.

    9. Not sure if you came across it yet, but I saw a really awesome Jareth BJD on Pinterest recently. I forgot what sculpt they used, but it was really spot on.

    10. One of my future dolls is loosely based off of Amalthea from The Last Unicorn. :)

    11. Not a movie character per say, but I'd love to find a doll I could turn into HP Lovecraft. I already have one who's the ghost of Lavinia Whateley.

I also have plans for a fourth Doctor PKF.

    12. Ferengi Quark from Star Trek - DS9

    13. Luke Skywalker, no question! The bad thing is, Mark Hamill has a kind of unusual (+ cute) face, so I'd have to somehow get a custom sculpt (and for services that have a minimum required amount of heads cast, find enough people that also wanted a Luke, or at least a doll that looked unnervingly like a young Mark Hamill :'D). I love Luke and his late-70s-early-80s hair and his outfits, though, so it'd be really fun if I ever had the means to do it.

And this isn't a movie character, but for like 6 months I had a weird, burning need for a Stanford Pines bjd, even though he isn't even a favorite character for me. Mysterious.

    14. Oh, I would be careful with such a statement. I think I know a decent sculpt for Luke...though there are other Star Wars charakters I would rather like to have. And they have no human face...

    15. Hands down Lucille from Crimson Peak. It's easy enough to find Tom Hiddleston like sculpts, and I had little trouble finding Edith, but a custom, already made Lucille Sharpe doll is a pipe dream. Or, she was until I found a head I could make work.

    16. I'd love to have one of Hiccup from How To Train Your Dragon 2, I'd have so much fun making his little flight suit too~:aheartbea

    17. From a game- I really think the elfdoll vivien head sculpt looks a lot like lightning farron from FFXIII and i would love to make a character based off of her~!

    18. Marion and Robin of "Robin of Sherwood".

    19. Not a character but rather an actor for me. I would totally get a BJD that looked like Dwayne Johnson! The man is gorgeous and makes even the most rugged/manly/muscular BJD look like a frail pretty boy
