1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Movie Character you would like to have as a bjd?

Dec 24, 2014

    1. I'm going to say Charlie Chaplin's Little Tramp character. Besides my personal interest in having a Chaplin doll, I think it would sell really well. Not just to BJD enthusiasts but to a much wider audience.

Ooo! And Stargate characters. I think one problem with "character" BJDs is that they're usually really only the character if they are wearing one specific set of clothes. Characters from something like Stargate which ran for a very long time would leave many wardrobe choices for a doll.

    2. I would love to see a Maleficent doll from the 2014 movie, with horns and wings :) And yes to Lee Pace as Thranduil.

    3. Elsa from "Frozen"

    4. danzig Here is my Charlie Chaplin. :sweat

    5. I suppose, technically, my Edward, Alphonse, and Winry count as "movie characters," since there were a couple of Fullmetal Alchemist movies made. I've got them in multiple sizes, as well as a couple of other character dolls from other media, as they live in something of an "extended universe" setting.

    6. Very nicely done.

    7. I love this idea. I WILL have Sherlock and John dolls, I'm a BBC Sherlock fan. I've been toying with a modern version of Bilbo and Thorin, but I haven't even looked at sculpts. I also want to make characters from some of my favorite fanfics into Tiny Delfs! And I would LOVE one of the articulated dragon bjds to be Smaug!

    8. Daenerys Targaryan! A sculpt modeled after Emilia Clarke's full lips, button nose, strong brows and wide set eyes would be amazing. I've always thought her face was very doll-like.

    9. Lee Min Ho from Boys Over Flowers. Curly hair wig. Full Set with suit. Oh my, this idea makes me excited.

    10. I kind of want Newt and Minho from maze runner... <3

    11. Constantine from the film "Constantine" omg. My love.

    14. I think I like you already.

    15. What I wouldn't do for a fabulous Ruby Rhod doll from the fifth element! It's obscure but I loved Chris Tucker's portrayal.

    16. And an interview with a vampire set! I would act the entire movie out.

    17. I would love dolls of John Kramer/Tobin Bell, Mark Hoffman/Costas Mandylor and Amanda Young/Shawnee Smith from the SAW movies. I think that getting dolls of those 3 characters will be my project for this year.

    20. Howl and Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle ;v;

Or any of the Ghibli characters really (oh gosh, a teeny tiny Kiki would be amazing...on something like a Bluefairy Shiny Fairy??) :)
