Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Omg . . I got a little scare today. I was doing a photo shoot outside, and my poor little Nixie face-planted into some very dirty dirt D: I freaked out and grabbed her, but thankfully she was fine. I was worried her face-up would chip . . or something! So then I continued taking pictures likes this:

      I hear ya on breaking "dolly rules". When I first entered the hobby I told myself "only NS/WS", "nothing smaller/larger than MSD", etc. Broke those within a few months. :lol: The NS/WS rule I really broke... I own a lilac skin BBB Ariel boy with tan, gray and green resin lovelies on my wishlist... and the majority of dolls actually on my wishlist are SD-sized. LOL! Oops. The only rule I stick to is one wig/pair of eyes per doll, and that's mainly because I am addicted to urethanes and if I didn't have that rule my wallet would never have the $$$ to actually buy resins. :lol:

      I think you'll be intrigued by the Brownie eye mechanism. I had never seen anything like it. My boy does use it (simply because his eyes are too large for the system), but it is really cool. It just holds the eyes in with a magnet so you don't even need putty! :XD:

      In addition to spampy, there are a lot of shops on etsy that have awesome clothes for tiny tinies. I've been meaning to ask Marsh Pants if they cater to BJDs this small, too. I know I'd love to get a pair of pleather pants for my PKF. I'd get a pair for my Brownie but... I think he'd be too afraid of them to wear 'em (I can see him now - "Landlady, what this? Scary pants!"). :XD:

      PS: OT but I've been a huge fan of your Alex for quite some time - the one with green hair, especially. I don't know which version he is. :XD: You totally inspire me to get young/child versions of my own characters someday. :XD:

      So sorry to hear your little one suffered a fall today, Diamond. I'm glad she's okay. I know that feeling all too well... about a month after I received my first BJD she tumbled off a table during a photo shoot and dented her eyebrow. I sobbed! But I quickly got over that and realized her injury only added to her character. <3

      But yours is safe and that is def' a good thing! :thumbup

      The order should have been placed on the 15th, so I've probably got weeks to go yet! It's hard cause I've got tons of clothes, the wig and I just ordered the exact eyes I need (that I'd had no idea even existed in such a small size), I just need the doll! XD

    17. When I was still buying stuff for my Brownies, I found heaps of Kelly shoes on ebay. I got a few lots of a half dozen or so pairs, as well as individual ones. I now have an entirely embarrassing amount of shoes for my three girls. Over a dozen different pink shoes, just to start.

      I think I would need this neckpiece the Brownies have, right?! But does this fit on the Lati body???

    19. As far as I know, Brownie heads are pretty much only good on brownie bodies. However, you can always try to design a special neckpiece or something, though I know it's kept in place with magnets, so I'm not sure how that would work.
