1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

MuDoll (FelixDoll) Brownies discussion Part 3

Apr 16, 2010

    1. Hackered - very cute wig.

Does anybody know if Junkyspot will be carrying more molds later or the small comfort in the future?

    2. They will be carrying more molds, but I don't know about the small comfort.

    3. If you look at the Japanese Brownie website they're only selling sets and parts for the Brownie size, so I assume they're not currently producing the small comfort bodies.

    4. :O do they sell sleeping heads, or was that a limited?? HackerEd, I love her!!!

    5. Thanks! The Japanese site has both the human and fairy sleeping heads for sale. Mine came with my Ravi as one of the extras and then I did a split with someone for her body.

    6. HackerEd Your little girl is adorable. What a great wig on her.

    7. Thanks for the info. Almost finished with a project for my little ones. Hopefully I can put pics up next week.

    8. Love everyones' spam! Sorry long time lurker but las night I came into relazation and I wanted to share >////< So at first I haven't been bounding well with my little girl. I mean I wanted her to have the momo face because I love smiling faces, but instead I bought one that has more of a pout (sorry don't remember her head mold ^_^; ) well it's been a couple of months and I have my dolls in a closed bookcase since I don't want the sun anywhere near them. At night I open it up and I see them, or try to sow etc, etc. These pass couple of weeks when I open it, I peek inside to see her sitting in the arms of one of my msd, and I think "that's cute" or "She's actually pretty like that". Last night I picked her up and had her sitting with me while I was working on the computer and have fallen completely smitten with her. She's slient and shy but I'm so glad that I got her!

sorry for long rant ^_^; but yeah wanted to share that i'm happy with brownies >////< anywho, this is a slightly older photo of her, I'll take a better one later

    9. Hello Ballet, I'm so glad that you are bonding with your little girl now :)
      She's very sweet :chocoberry

    10. @Ballet: Your little one is adorable! That's great you were able to bond with her. Sometimes it just takes time. ;)

Today is Michael's first "anniversary" so I decided to snap a quick "then and now" comparison:

He was my first tiny BJD. I remember before I bought him I was really intimidated by small dolls... but the moment I saw him in his box I was hooked! What a fun size!

      Happy New Year, everyone!

    11. What's the deal with the Felixdoll company, would you say it's safe to buy from them now?? Sorry if this is the wrongish place, I want an answer from people with experience ;)

    12. FelixDoll is pretty much a joke now. Don't buy from them.

The original sculptor now has a contract with another, and well established, doll company, GLiB. With GLiB, the Brownies are now sold at the doll shop Mudoll with entirely new full-sets and consistent pricing.

JunkySpot is also now a US based distributor. I, personally, recommend them if they have the one you want in stock.

    13. Thanks a ton!!

    14. Has anyone bought Brownies or clothes from ToyPos.com or is that one to stay away from ? I want to order my first Brownie !
      Thanks !

    15. Omg, I haven't checked in for ages O.O''' It's great to see so much brownie adorableness! <3
Here's a picture of my little Nixie. She's discovered a new love: Duckies!!

    16. Apparently this is quite a new company, and while they may be perfectly respectable I personally would be hesitant ordering from them. A lot of what they're listing is the old sets but closer to the new prices- again, it may be that they got the leftover brownie stock from somewhere or something, but since I don't know this for sure I can only guess. I would reccomend ordering from Junkyspot instead. If they don't have the particular one you're interested in you can always contact the staff and see if they'll order it for you.

    17. Hey everyone!
This might be the wrong place, but I feel the urge to vent, so you can yell at me afterwards if you want.
I ordered my Brownie from the Felixdoll ebay accound (zibi1212) exactly one year and one day ago. About 2 months after I ordered, Felixdoll basically 'went down', so to speak, yet they still promised to ship January orders. I know they kept to that, because I saw many pictures on flickr from people who had just received their brownies, but I never heard from them again! I basically gave up all hope of getting a refund/doll in the meantime. Now I find that they've switched companies/manufactures?
How frustrating! I just wish there was something I could do..
Phew, glad to get that off of my chest!

Anyway, great pictures everyone! Keep'em coming! They're all so adorable.

    18. Have you tried contacting the new company?
I'd send all the info like order #, pmt and such. Maybe they can help.
Someone who sells the dolls now could give you the new place to contact.

    19. Yes, I can vouch for the fact that my dealings with Junkspot have always been prompt and excellent, so thats where I would recommend getting a Brownie now that they are carrying them.

Oh Heavens Harmony - I am so sorry you are going through this. I agree with MaggieMay, that is excellent advice.

Also, is there a Felixdoll, or Brownie waiting room? Maybe there is more current info there.

I finally got my Ravi ages after I had ordered her, but through Karin. The eyebrows are so silly I hardly ever play with her. I really need to try painting the extra head I got and try that too.

    20. I planned for my next doll to be a FL Puki² but now that I've seen these cutie Brownies, I don't know anymore XD
      I'm so enjoying the spam!
