Thanks so much ! I did order my 'first' Brownie Haha from Junky Spot and the service couldn't have been better, shipped in 3 days ! they are wonderful, everything was perfection AND oodles of gifts, super company. I will definately be ordering from them again !

ToyPos does have some of the outfits I want and can't seem to get anywhere else but I will wait until I see some fb for them.

Hi everyone....I am considering purchasing a Brownie, and I had a couple questions I wanted to ask all you owners out there. Firstly, I'd like to know what eye size they take....I seem to be having trouble finding that info. I know they have a little eyemech thing, so does that also effect the type of eye I need to buy? Lastly I am assuming a 3/4 size wig will work best? Are there any brands that fit better than others? Thanks in advance for your help!

 

I can only go by mine, but he has 8mm eyes in (I'm buying him another pair, the pupils aren't the same size and it's bothering me) and his wig came from Jpop...I thought it was a 3/4 but it's kind of big. It was in the Puki wig section. I bought him two wigcaps and with both on it fits perfectly and doesn't look odd at all. I've never tried other wigs on him since I bought him to have a specific look so I don't know about other brands fitting...But I did try his wig on a Puki, and it was too big on the Puki too, so it's the wig, not the Brownie lol

 

I believe my Ravi takes whatever sized eyes my Puki's do. I cant even remember now. I do know they can wear the same clothes., Well Brownies can wear Puki clothes, but due to the head being so easily removable, not all Puki's can wear Brownie clothes. I have my Ravi in a wig I crocheted so I really dont know, but again, I think whatever is puki sized will work. As to eyes, the default eyes moved around in my Ravi even with the clever mechanism, so I added some putty. However my small comfort baby eyes stay put perfectly. Hope this helps some - there must be an info sticky for Brownies somewhere.

Hi, Tsukiyono (I am birdie on DM too). My Brownies wear their stock wigs, which are excellent because of a magnet system. They can also wear most other 3-4" wigs, but their heads are a bit smaller than fashion doll heads (which many of the 3-4" doll wigs are made to fit), meaning that they will look slightly oversized (they tend to "sit" on the top of the head, like those trucker mesh caps, if you know what I mean - either that, or if you pull them down they will cover the Brownie's ears). There are a couple of places to get perfectly sized fur wigs, if you like those - Monstrodesigns on Etsy and Sunny's Wonderful World of Wigs on the bay.

 

Here's my little Haha, my first Brownie and I her bunches ! She is perfect and I love how the Brownies pose !

She is wearing 6mm eyes from DreamingTreeStudio on Etsy, not the default 8mm. I tend to like the smaller eyes and think it shows off her tiny features more.
Dollmore Banji tops will fit, she is wearing one.
Parabox 3.5 bobbed wigs that I have fit fine but the 4 are too big. I recommend Parabox also, only one purchase from them, 3 wigs, but was very happy with thier service. Also if you contact them they respond within 24 hours.

 

Jeri - your Haha is wonderful!!! She looks so much better than the company photos!

Eh for those even considering ToyPos - I did my usual shopping cart play with them - put a fullset Brownie ($145) in the cart and shipping turned out to be $300?!!!! Either it's a serious error - or they are severely jacking up the price with the shipping. They had a Dollzone Mo for sale at $550 too - the price of that fullset Mo on DDE is just $380.

I bought my brownie Nene from Junky Spot - and got the usual flawless service and quick shipping. Can't argue with that!

 

Oh my, the new faceup style is definitely wayyyy better than the one Felix provided..! Love that little Haha, jeri! I'll have to try 6mm DreamingTreeStudio in my Nenes, though I suspect that they won't fit as well; seems as Nenes have wider/rounder eye openings than Haha. Will report back tomorrow, I already have the eyes (got several pairs for my Realpuki!).

 

Thanks birdie and kozee That helps with the info on the eye openings, and yes the 6mm just do fit so larger eye openings wouldn't work with them.

I love seeing all of the Brownie photos and think I will have to have another one.......soon ! But I think Haha, no name yet, will be my favorite since she is my first Brownie

Wow kozee ! Hope that is a mistake with Toypos ! So I imagine that you did go ahead and order then, lol, kidding ! I am going to contact them with a few questions and will let you guys know what they say. Darn, I want some of their "stuffs" but don't dare order unless I am sure about them.

Oh, and what you see in my pics re the faceup is even better in person ! They have a bit of a shimmer finish. Wonderful artists painting them !

I ended up ordering a Milk Brownie Haha from Junkyspot this evening. From my experience with them they seem to ship fast, so maybe I'll have her by the end of the week? Either way her house is currently in shambles from my overhauling it, so as much as I am excited to receive her, she doesn't need to get here too fast. Anyway guess I'll go see if there is a waiting room thread.

 

Yeah Junkyspot always ships fast since all they list is what they actually have in stock. I haven't ordered from them in years but I was very happy with the service I got from ordering my first two DZ tinies.

As for wigs, Brownies do technically have slightly smaller heads than Pukis so sometimes things styled for a Puki doesn't sit right or will slide around. My Ravi wears her fullset wig but I'm thinking of replacing it with one from the same maker as Foo's wig (which is a 3-4 size meant for tiny bjds). The fibers on Foo's are better quality and the only thing it needed was a little bang trim.

 

I have searched to no avail for a reference which will show which is which. I bought a Felix Brownie Ava last year (I love her) but I do not know where to find which sculpt she is. Can someone point me in the right direction?

As far as I know there are only 2 fairy molds: Gogo and Momo. I'd say yours is a Gogo. I have both; but they're packed in their boxes right now as I'm moving around a little...

I noticed the other day that Leeke had a very small selection of tiny wigs in size 3. Leeke wigs are always so pretty, I would love to have one for my incoming Brownie. Has anyone had any experience with the size 3 Leeke wigs?

Pretty sure your girl is a Gogo. I have a Gogo too and you can see the similarities in the sculpt. Eye shape and mouth.
