1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. Wonderful! My Mousee escaped from customs in San Francisco, so I'm hoping he can make it here on Monday!

    3. Great news!!

    4. I think an SD head is a better fit. The neck circumference is pretty big on the MYou body.

I have neck size in the comparison table as it's so important for head fit. Giant BB Size Comparison Chart

MaskCat Doll lists theirs at 7.5cm...I'm curious if it's accurate as that is the smallest so far and might then fit MSD heads the best of the BB "class" as a whole.

I have a Marchen Waltz Elena head (which is a WEIRD size) and didn't really like it proportionally on the Pear body...it looked a bit small to me (and it's slightly bigger than an MSD but CAN fit some of the bigger 7-8" wigs). Neck size was fine (the Elena head works really well on the DollsTown Elf body, for comparison) but...I just didn't like it on my MYou. I could post a photo if I scrolled back on my phone a few weeks, lol.

I also tried my MSDoll Ken head and didn't like it...something about the angular chin with the roundness of the body felt off to me.

      I love hybrids <3

      Cheers!

    5. I have a different hybrid question.

I like one of the Myou Big Baby girls, but I would want to put on a different body, like an SD10 scale one. Do you think it would look good? There's something about the Big Baby sculpts that remind me a lot of Volks and I've kind of been interested in such a hybrid for a tad while.

None of this is in my immediate wishlist, but as I make a dolly plan, I'm jotting down all sorts of ideas to plan my purchase across the span of the next few years.

    6. My Mousee boy arrived and I love him! He hasn't found clothes that suit him here yet. He does have a wig but agreed to take it off for this comparison shot with Rosenlied Bebe and Myou Loretta!

Excuse the stands! Three dolls on my not very stable table just isn't safe! They will all stand on their own!

    7. OOOOH I really do love the pear shape body!

    8. Hello! I received my Matcha from JunkySpot earlier this week (I wanted some instant gratification ;)) I have absolutely nothing that fits her but she is a beautiful doll and I got her on the Pear body which I'm finding that I really like. JunkySpot only carries the dolls in normal skin (which is fine, its very nice). But does anyone have a white skin and normal skin doll for a comparison? I want to order another doll but I'm really thinking I would like them in white skin (so far I've found no companies that stock them in white skin :()

    9. You can order them direct from Myou. JunkySpot will place an order for you as well. Just email Emory.
Here is a comparison photo when I had the white resin.
Delia normal resin, Lorette, white resin, Sybil pink resin

    10. I ordered Matcha from Junky Spot last week and got her on Thursday. I absolutely love this size doll. I made her a dress over the weekend and just finished it today. I love the styles from the early 1900's and they suit her so wonderfully. Plus it's so much easier sewing for this size doll than the smaller ones. Here's a picture. I still need to to get (or try making) some shoes for her though. I'd like to get one in the white resin, but I think I would want to do the face-up myself. I'd like it much softer than how they do it.

    12. Thank you for the comparison pic! I know I can order from any of them but I really liked that instant gratification from JunkySpot! Just wish they had one in WS in stock.

    13. I think Junky Spot has decided to order only normal ski for stock dolls.

    14. Shes beautiful!!!

    15. She is so pretty! The dress is perfect. Definitely Matcha's style.

    16. Thank you Kittywolf and Oliveoil.

    17. @Silvertabby I just got my Matcha straight from MYou, and look how much softer her face-up is:

I was worried that MYou said they added glitter, so I requested no glitter. I was so happy with her gentle look! I have to send the body back because they sent the wrong one, but I told them I'm keeping the head :D

edit: but @Silvertabby I still like the interpretation you got as well. I mostly was pointing out the separate companies are doing default face-ups differently.

    18. She is so pretty!! Normal resin?
I requested light on blush and glitter.

    19. No, @Oliveoil , she is white resin. It is just so interesting to see how different face-ups can be on the same doll. I like @Silvertabby 's Matcha's face-up as well... It is more pronounced, and gives her a more 'antique' look I think. It goes perfectly with the outfit she is wearing. I think that anyone getting a 'default face-up' should come here to see how different companies may interpret that look.
