I'm still a noob to BJD. Hope it's okay to ask... I love Nefer's dolls. They really are amazing. My question: Does she always do pre orders with layaway options? Is there and opportunity to order older releases again? I missed the pre order of GiGi and I'd really love a Humpty! Thanks!

Hi all, it's my first time joining the Nefer Kane CK discussion. I got a white Moon today Even though she is supposed to be a moon, I wanna make her into a cheese headed fairy or something. The green skin Moon looks like stinky cheese to me! LOL! A cheese fairy/dairy fairy is a cute idea! I'm super excited by this doll! She kind of grew on me. I liked the sculpt a ton before the craters were added, then I wasn't so sure. Then I just had to get her!
Ha! I thought the green one looked like Stinky Cheese Man too! Debating what colour I want for moon; probably the glow-in-the-dark so I can blush whatever colour I want.

I have been lucky enough to get a late order in for Nefer's Moon girl in green resin with face up! I'd love to know if anyone else here is expecting one of these gorgeous crater-headed girls??
I've got one on layaway! I think that puts me at Sept, not sure when she'll ship. Alice is mentioned on Facebook as being next to preorder after Bloon.
There is a BJDC here at the end of this week/weekend. I'm super excited to see Nefer's work in person! I think Gigi will be coming home with me.
I'm still a noob to the bjd world. I'm getting a blank circuskane doll and need inspiration and info and how to do faceups...kind of a simple faceup. I've worked on blythe before, but nothing else. where is a good place to start my search?
You can use the same stuff as Blythe; acrylic paint, chalk pastels, coloured pencils- I use MSC on my Blythe as well. I tend to look through flickr groups for inspiration, you get to see faceup artists as well as regular Schmoes. : )
Ooh thanks for this! Wait it's an option to order Moon too? Or is that just a typo because it's not mentioned in faceup descriptions
