Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. ok genuinely was always wondering why people seemed so obsessed with their dolls, and like I love dolls but I didn't get the attachment.. that is until my girl finally arrived in the mail :XD:

      The new doll fever is strong w me lol, I can't stop taking pics and window shopping clothing for her. I already am planning on making tons of outfits for her and making one of my shelves into a little diorama for her. Safe to say I am fully obsessed with her! I can't help it! she's just so cute! :whee::whee:

    2. What doll did you get?

      I’m always crazy excited when I get a new doll. I try to order as much from the fullset as I can since I usually like the promotional photos when I buy a doll. There is just so many eyes, wig, and outfits out there that I really struggle getting a doll to it’s final look. XD But at the end of the day I love taking them out and having a good photoshoot. :)

    3. I have new doll fever too right now lol, I recently dyed my Venitu head, hands, and feet and I'll soon be dying the dollstown body I got for him to match and oh wow I'm so excited! I'm already working on his tattoos too

    4. I have new doll fever even tho the doll isn't here yet! Its the first time I've been this hyped for a doll! He's got two pairs of fancy resin eyes and a few clothes already, I just gotta finish paying off his layaway so he can GET HERE, I'm like chomping at the bit right now!

    5. I still get that excited when I get a new doll. I made my first payment on a four month layaway like 2 days ago and I already can't wait her her to get here. I have plans for her character already, ideas on how she would interact with my other doll characters and plans for clothes and making her some cute accessories. I don't think it will ever get old every time I get a new doll

    6. This still happens to me every time I get a new doll, and I’ve been in this hobby for many, many years.:) It just never gets old! I usually utilize layaway options to fit new dolls into my budget, and as soon as that first payment is made and I know they are truly mine, then the “nesting” period for me begins. I’ll begin working diligently on refining their character, choose eyes, wigs, make plans for their display and start hunting down supplies for that, and come up with wardrobe ideas. All this keeps me busy and “on task” while I wait.

      I'm feeling that right now as my newest just arrived today. I don't have the right wig for her and the clothes are not quite right, but super excited and happy for her. The face up looks just like the one on the webcite, so very minor augmentation to that at a future date, but, yeah.... Squeee!

    8. I struggle with hyperfixating on anything and everything, so of course it applies to dolls lol It's so funny with how long the dolls get to arrive because I'll go through like 3 phases of being obsessed with that specific dolls before it even arrives

    9. I'm waiting for my first ever doll to come in but I'm super excited thinking about making her clothes and creating a nice little home for her on my shelf! It really warms my heart seeing everyone share their excitement here! :)
