Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023.     1. I think the jointing system looks fine, but it's probably because I have had some dolls who are terrible posers. I like the lines of the body and I think it's well done.

    2. I am really impressed by the way this doll is designed and I hope to get one, but I want Asa on this body if Iplehouse decides to do it. This body poses so much better and looks better too than the EID, but I would consider a more healthy body too if they pose great.

    3. I keep staring at that red headed Luna and it's making me work deals in my head. The Yur and Luna heads are the same for the EID bodies right? So if I got Luna in RS SID now, I should be able to change out her head and Asa's...I could have a Luna EID and Asa SID in real skin. HMMMM.....

      I just realized Luna is wearing the EID woman shirt and tie set and the SID skirt- I wonder how many of the tops will be compatible between the two bodies?

    4. kadepie...Do it! Ha! That Luna is even tempting me but I still have to pay off my Cherie so it's not going to happen.

      I think that the SIDs can wear EID tops but probably not the other way around.

    6. That is some amazing posing - Iple, I think, is the master company for excellent posing. Nothing is disjointed or overstretched, and it all looks incredibly natural! The elbow joint does look rather ugly though.....but we can't have everything.

    7. Has anyone sew-saavy who has ordered Cherie (or SE Yur or Luna on the SID body) been trying to make clothes yet? I find that I am getting really impatient and all I can do to contain myself is to start sketching out outfits I'd like my girl to have. I've attempted to jig up a sloper using the measurements Iple released, but I'm just not sure it is going to work.

      Anyone have any special techniques they use when designing without the doll handy?

    10. I *just* placed an order last night for Jessica and then they go and release her as an SID? Gah Iplehouse...stop releasing new stuff!! I'll see if I can change my order...I'd rather have two SIDs than one EID and one SID...that way they can share clothes.

      On second thought...I like the EID body...and Jessica in normal skin, so I'll stick with what I've got!

    12. kadepie...do you prefer Asa with the SID body or EID body? I personally thought Luna and Yur looked better on the SID body and while Jessica and Asa look nice on the SID body I still think the EID body works well for them too...unlike Yur and Luna who's heads, I think, look to small.

    14. Well, the face up on the EID Real skin Asa looks more appropriate I guess you could say for the EID body. The more subtle face up on SID Asa is pretty with the lighter lips, so I think she looks good on both. I can't choose. Luna definitely looked better on the SID body.

    15. GRRRRRRRRR!!! Why does Iplehouse insist on releasing all of their LE stuff only in Real Skin? I desperately want an SID Asa, but I want regular Normal skin. :( :( I wonder if they'll do these releases again later in different skintones?

    16. Whoa, that was a surprise! Asa looks great in the new faceup too but I'm still happy with having ordered the normal skin EID. I like her head-body proportions better with the EID body. I would've liked a small bust option though!

    17. My guess would be that once Iple releases a basic Cherie with that SID body that they may open the other basic EID female sculpts to the option of an SID body. Usually they release their basic a month after the limited so we may see a basic Cherie later this month.

    18. sixpence668 - Who knows, maybe they will release them as basic (normal and white skin) options later on. You could also ask on the Q&A board. Me...I just wish they'd stop releasing so much stuff, my wallet definitely can't keep up with it!

    19. I did ask on the board this morning, so I guess we'll see. :) The good news is I had asked about an SID Asa once before and they responded with a "We'll think about it..." and now here she is! Time to start saving money and keep my fingers crossed! :D

    20. The SID RS Asa is perfect for a character of I will either snap it up long in the future on the market, or wait til she's released as a basic and settle for normal skin. I wanted Asa to be smaller then my Jessica! *___* I know there isn't much difference between EID and SID but the little variations can really help define a character, imo. I like the Jessica, but I think she suits EID better. (totally not biased at alllll *looking at my about to arrive RS EID Jessica*)
