New Iplehouse Dolls - SID - Lets Speculate and Chatter

zababee, they just had Asa EID in RS back in March. It will be later on in the year before they do another EID RS release or even early next year.

 

Is it just me, or would Lee make a good base doll for a guy like this?

 

His eyes would..I'm not sure of Lee's smiley lips.

I really don't know; this pic came across my tumblr feed & I thought he had the same overall look as Lee. I think Lee might be hot w/tattoos like this, though his faceup would need to somehow convey the sullenness, since his shy smile seems much more cheerful than this foto.

Joyce - Yur looks great! The lingerie seems very workable, I hope you can alter it for her. Yours is the first SID I've seen. It's making me really antsy for my Cherie! What is your girl's name?

It would be great if Iple would offer the option of putting the EID girls on SID bodies all the time and not just as a special. I would love to have a Jessica on the SID body-she would be ideal for a character of mine. But I want her in NS, not RS.

 

Oh wow, Pinktink! Your girl is gorgeous! Makes me antsy for mine, since Yur looks really good on the SID body. I'm glad I'm revamping my girl this way. ^^ I absolutely love that teal lingerie you have yours in, she's really striking with her overall color combination.

I asked Iplehouse for a shipping estimate on my girl -- I ordered her May 17 on layaway and paid her off June 18 -- and they told me next week. I think I'm going to end up delaying her a bit, because I'm considering making a sizeable clothing order for her (running around naked at home is fine, but there is something to be said about going out as such in public lol) and having it shipped with her.

 

Quirked - don't rely on what Iple gives you as a shipping date. They changed mine three times! The last they told me was this Tuesday and she's still before shipping. I paid my girl off May 18th

Swazini, this isn't my first Iplehouse doll, and I know they're behind so I do know that.
However, they have held true on any other doll I've asked about. It isn't like I'm going to be surprised if she doesn't ship next week; since I plan on making a clothing order and having it shipped with her, so that's just going to delay her anyway. -shrug-

I'm antsy for her, but I can wait. Sort of. I want to get her previous shell (EID) sold since there is another doll I want, but I want to see them together first before I do.

 

Quirked - You are more patient than me then. I was antsy because I wanted to take my SID to an out of state doll meet this weekend. It's been 3 weeks since I was first told she was to ship. So I got my hopes up. Should know better than to do that in this hobby!

 

Can anyone take some SID/YID girl comparison pics? I'd like to see how big the difference is. I wonder if their YID line's bodies will get a revamp to reflect these more lifelike curvier and more muscley sculpts. The YID boys look so dollish and stiff to me.

 

Swazini, I think its helping me this time because I'm mostly waiting on the body -- I'm excited to see them both side by side, since it will be the same head and different bodies. ^^

Rosslyn, I've come to the conclusion that the YID boys look like teenage boys that are in the 'gangly' stage -- I see this with my Mars anyway. xD He has those super long arms and legs, big feet and hands, and his body is thinner (seriously, its not that much bigger around than my JID boy's body), and his head is kind of big. I've been ogling Storm to upgrade my YID boy to -- he's a bit too stoic to fit the character, but I think it would work with the right faceup, wig, and styling. Plus I love the SID man body.

 

So I decided to ask Iple about shipping yesterday. Had not gotten a reply, but when I checked the status this morning it was On Shipping. So YAY, my Shelby is on her way home finally. Congrats to those who got their notices, and patience to those who are still waiting!

 

OOh, Swazini.....I just found the Cherie and decided I wanted her but was having the same problem of not finding pictures, I can't wait to see yours. We will definitely have to have a mini meet-up so I can see her in person.

 

LadyNyssa - congrats! I adore Yur...she is so pretty. Still can't get enough of Joyce's beautiful girl!

Michu - oh definitely. We aren't too far from each other so any weekend should work for me! Mine is on shipping today so she should be home soon. Are you planning on getting a normal skin or white skinn Cherie (I think she's so pretty) or will you try and find a realskin one?
