Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Thanks for the photo. I can see what you mean, although if I wasn't looking for it, I don't think I'd really notice that much from the pic. I'd probably think your little one was just a different resin. Are either of these dolls the newer UV real skin resin? Thanks for the advice on keeping them safe from the sunlight.

      Both of your guys are so cute!

    2. I don't recall when the UV real skin came into general use. I ordered Byuri in Dec. 2010 (he was one of the first two EGs) and Barahan a year later. The greening happened last summer, when I had Byuri in shorts and a tank top. Little Erzulie, who is also real skin and was displayed beside him, has also paled but less noticeably.

    3. The UV-protectant RS resin went into production in Aug-Sept 2009. There was a nice explanation here of the chemical reactions going on with further links. I do see how his little hand paled. It's hard to see if it greened like the I've seen in pics before the protective additive. Those were downright Kermit.

      I'd still buy RS (or the darker resins) if it suited the doll. They just need extra TLC.

    4. Giorgio in Make up B and a black wig reminds be of Takeshi Yamamoto in reborn. I don't know why. Giorgio is unsmiling, Takeshi always smiles...maybe I am making up the likeliness to convince myself to buy Giorgio. I am liking him the more I look at him, but he is too stylised for my taste. That might change once I see more owner pics.
