    1. I hope they come out with a waify, skinny boy body. Seems like all the latest boy bodies coming out lately are hyper-muscular. I'd be very interested in a less-defined boy body (like the old DOT male body, or the Type 3 SDF)!

      The JID female body is ok, but needs an overhaul. Perhaps a chubbier chick? I'm tired of long-legged thin little super models; a curvy body along the lines of the EID woman would be a nice change.

    2. OH! Just as i ordered an EID, they come up with a SID....
      I do hope they don't differ so much, else i might end up having to save up to get the SID. Haha.

      Anyone here with a Jessica EID?

    4. If they are still deciding on what body types to use for their SID's I how long wonder what Iple's "coming soon" will actually be. Still I'm sure it's going to be a great line.

    9. I saw this and died a little inside.

      I'm curious to see how they'll work in the sizes since for the girl at least, she'll be just a teeny bit shorter than EID.

      I'm also wondering if this will mean more trouble for my bank account later when they release it >_<. I'm a sucker for Iplehouse dolls and I was really hoping to resist until I'm no longer dirt poor.

    10. Can't wait to see what they're gonna do, but I'm sure will have a lot of surprises with Iplehouse this year again !
      They told that they're preparing :

      in EID Size :
      _ woman & man Asian type
      _ woman & man African type
      _ Real skin release of man (both hero & model body) for the first semester of 2010

      _ And now a totally new brand size of bjd !!!
      _and a new line of outfits !!!

      Wow ! they got positive energy !!! I'm impressed !

    13. In the new SID male body poll, the option for having a EID model type body and a less-muscular than model type body are winning so far. If they do release a less muscular body for this line, I'm really hoping we'll be able to get YID head sculpts with them, since this would be perfect for my Mars character. I'd also like to get Cocori on the new SID girl body if it does end up being more like the EID body, unless they come up with another sculpt I like better.

    14. I asked Iple about the Joints!
      I suggested a Poll, whether people would like the style of EID or YID style Elbow&Knees.
      Personally, I really dislike the joints on the EIDs and thats what puts me off them - Love everything else,but hate the look of the joints >.<

      This was their reply;

      Hi, lovely callum91~~

      Elbow & knee joints for SID are manufactured differently from EID & JID ones.
      You can think of this as the modified shape of YID & EID ones.
      The shape of YID joints is simple, but inferior to EID ones in the mobility.

      So, we manufactured new joint type so you can handle easily like YID ones, but has better mobility & wonderful body line like EID ones, and now we are testing. ^^

      It is very hard to manufacture new joints.

      We should check whether joints can be met each other, or handled easily but the most difficult thing for us to design joint shape is to keep good body line.

      Because beautiful & natural body line is the character of Iplehouse body line. ^^

    16. NO WAY! I didn't know they were planning on doing RS Guys again! That's AWESOME to know! Now I know to wait for them for sure, as I'm dying to get Luo in RS!

      As for SID, I'm so excited by this too! I haven't gotten my first EID yet, but RS Evan should be with me early next week and NS Jessica should be here next month. That said, I would love to have dolls in SID scale too, as the only BJDs I have are in the 60cm scale, so this would kind of bridge the gap. Very cool! I think it would be fun to give one of my EIDs a younger sibling too. I'm so excited!

      Anyway, already Iplehouse completely manufactured the body for SID line, last year.
      The body was completed, but we are making the progress continuously of joint test manufactured recently, so waiting for proper time of release.

      And

      Now, from our schedule, new SID & KID lines will be open in the first half of this year.
      KID means Kid Iplehouse Doll.

      So the SID bodies are mostly done already and they'll be out in a few months. And they're going to release another line of smaller dolls as well. (Yo-SD sized, maybe? Muscley Yo-SD's?:lol: I'd make a seperate discussion for them but I don't know if they'd go under mini's or tinies yet.)

I wonder if this means a regular release Kamau EID, another character in the Circus, or the beginning of releasing regular issue EIDs not involved in the Circus???*_* Personally I hope if they do another African EID head, I hope that he's not as serious/scowly as Aaron or Kamau. I would like to see a smiling/jovial African character. I am excited about the next real skin release. Looks like it will be an exciting year for Iplehouse! :)

      ETA: I would love them to release their 2 African and 2 Asian EIDs like the did Barron, Ryushin and the 2 new girls, almost in one big bang, even if it was a couple of weeks apart!
