New Iplehouse Dolls - SID - Lets Speculate and Chatter

She is lovely, but I'm absolutely dying to see what they do with the male body..

 

Wow, she's like a perfect miniature EID! And I can't wait to see what the new knee and elbow joints can do!

 

I'm really liking this new body! I had been thinking about hybriding a head onto the EID woman body, but it would require a lot of neck mods to wittle it down, and the SID looks to have a much slimmer neck, and should still be tall enough for what I need.

 

I can't wait to see the male body.With a slightly shorter guy next to an EID....I could make my favoride book characters!! Wonder what the price difference will be.

 

I wish I could just get the page to load- it's so freaking slow.

 

Finally a female body I love, and I can't wait to see how they make a new head for this body, wish I could get her when she comes out.

I am very curious about what will become of the YID line. I love Harin but hate the ganglyness of the YID body.

 

Man I love that body. Unffff currvveees. I just hope there's a small bust option, and that the body can be purchased separately.

 

I'm loving this new change. EID women are a little too curvy for me, so this is perfect.

I may have to sell my Luna to get her in SID size. I like that the EID head does not look out of place on the SID body! And I read that the first SID girl will be out at the end of this month and be one of the Circus LEs. Can't wait!

 

Finally got to see the pics! The new body is gorgeous- I wonder what heads will be released since the EID heads look good in proportion to the body, will they have new molds or just suggest we use the YID or EID ones?

 

GAH! I hope not Kadepie! I want new heads. *stomps feet*

 

I know one of them is supposed to be an NC character, BUT I have a sinking feeling there won't be a large amount of new heads to choose from. Valentinegirl posted that IH suggested to her to use the JID heads on the KID bodies- when she asked them for more information.

 

I hope this is not true. I really need a good selection of heads (especially for a male SID) and don't care too much for any of the YID heads. Same with the KID's

 

I know the feeling. The only YID head that I do like is Mars.

 

Yeah he is the only one I would even consider. I personally hope they bring out a SID akando like doll. He is just soooo gorgeous but so BIG! The EID's would trample over my JID's without even seeing them and that would not be good.

 

The other thing I wonder is what type of clothing they'll release too. I see a whole new round of patterns being drafted for the new sizes, unless they turn out to be able to fit better in existing lines elsewhere.

 

What a smokin' new body! The new joints look great and those legs are as lovely as a Unoa's.

And I love that Iple is making their heads compatible with more than one body type, its great for those who love their existing dolls but not their size. And I think of it this way, if head swapping is possible, then every new EID release will also be like a new SID release, and vice versa!

But doing splits for head swaps is a pain, especially with IH dolls - EID bodies aren't exactly good candidates for hybrids! xD I hope Iple will start offering their parts separately or allow you to choose a different body type. Yur is my favorite Iple girl and I can just see it being a nightmare to try and actually get her on the SID body that goes so well with her. >.<
